13 Therefore Saul turned him away from [a]his presence and appointed him as his commander of one thousand; and (A)he went out and came in before the people. 14 And David was [b]prospering in all his ways, and (B)Yahweh was with him. 15 Then Saul saw that he was [c]prospering greatly, so he dreaded him. 16 But (C)all Israel and Judah loved David, for he went out and came in before them.
