^2 (A)And Yahweh was with Joseph, so he became a ^[a]successful man. And he was in the house of his master, the Egyptian. ³ Now his master ^(B)saw that Yahweh was with him and how Yahweh ^(C)caused all that he did to succeed in his hand.

^23 (A)The chief jailer did not supervise anything under Joseph’s hand because ^(B)Yahweh was with him; and whatever he did, ^(C)Yahweh made to succeed.

²⁷ So ^(A)Yahweh was with Joshua, and the ^(B)report about him was in all the land.

¹⁸ Then one of the young men answered and said, “Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite who is a skillful musician, ^(A)a mighty man of valor, a warrior, one who is understanding in speech, and man of fine form; and ^(B)Yahweh is with him.”
