19 Do not admit a charge against an elder except (A)on the evidence of two or three witnesses. 20 As for those who persist in sin, (B)rebuke them in the presence of all, (C)so that the rest may stand in fear. 21 In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus and of the elect angels (D)I charge you to keep these rules without prejudging, (E)doing nothing from partiality. 22 (F)Do not be hasty in the (G)laying on of hands, nor (H)take part in the sins of others; keep yourself pure.

19 Do not accept an accusation against an (A)elder except on the basis of (B)two or three witnesses. 20 Those who continue in sin, (C)rebuke in the presence of all, (D)so that the rest also will be fearful of sinning. 21 (E)I solemnly exhort you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus and of His chosen angels, to maintain these principles without bias, doing nothing in a spirit of partiality. 22 (F)Do not lay hands upon anyone too quickly and [a]thereby share (G)responsibility for the sins of others; keep yourself [b]free from sin.

19 Do not entertain an accusation against an elder(A) unless it is brought by two or three witnesses.(B) 20 But those elders who are sinning you are to reprove(C) before everyone, so that the others may take warning.(D) 21 I charge you, in the sight of God and Christ Jesus(E) and the elect angels, to keep these instructions without partiality, and to do nothing out of favoritism.
22 Do not be hasty in the laying on of hands,(F) and do not share in the sins of others.(G) Keep yourself pure.(H)

19 Do not listen to an accusation against an elder unless it is confirmed by two or three witnesses. 20 Those who sin should be reprimanded in front of the whole church; this will serve as a strong warning to others.
21 I solemnly command you in the presence of God and Christ Jesus and the highest angels to obey these instructions without taking sides or showing favoritism to anyone.
22 Never be in a hurry about appointing a church leader.[a] Do not share in the sins of others. Keep yourself pure.
