The Word Becomes Flesh

^14 (A)And the Word ^(B)became ^(C)flesh and dwelt among us, and ^(D)we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, ^(E)full of grace and truth.

^3 (A)who being the brightness of His glory and the express ^(B)image of His person, and ^(C)upholding all things by the word of His power, ^(D)when He had ^[a]by Himself ^[b]purged ^[c]our sins, ^(E)sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

Benediction

^25 [a]Now ^(A)to Him who is able to establish you ^(B)according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, ^(C)according to the revelation of the mystery ^(D)kept secret since the world began

⁴ And it happened, as they were ^[a]greatly perplexed about this, that ^(A)behold, two men stood by them in shining garments.

Christ Ascends to God’s Right Hand^(A)

¹⁹ So then, ^(B)after the Lord had spoken to them, He was ^(C)received up into heaven, and ^(D)sat down at the right hand of God.

²³ if indeed you continue ^(A)in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are ^(B)not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, ^(C)which was preached to every creature under heaven, ^(D)of which I, Paul, became a minister.

¹² To them it was revealed that, not to themselves, but to ^[a]us they were ministering the things which now have been reported to you through those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven—things which ^(A)angels desire to look into.

The Certainty of God’s Witness

⁶ This is He who came ^(A)by water and blood—Jesus Christ; not only by water, but by water and blood. ^(B)And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth. ⁷ For there are three that bear witness ^[a]in heaven: the Father, ^(C)the Word, and the Holy Spirit; ^(D)and these three are one. ⁸ And there are three that bear witness on earth: ^(E)the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one.
