⁹ for they themselves report^[a] what kind of reception^(A) we had from you: how you turned^(B) to God from idols^(C) to serve the living^(D) and true^(E) God ¹⁰ and to wait^(F) for his Son^(G) from heaven, whom he raised from the dead^(H)—Jesus, who rescues us^(I) from the coming wrath.^(J)
