24 Después de haberlo destetado, lo llevó consigo, con un novillo de tres años[a], un efa[b] de harina y un odre de vino(A), y lo trajo a la casa del Señor en Silo(B), aunque el niño era pequeño. 25 Entonces sacrificaron el novillo(C), y trajeron el niño a Elí(D). 26 Y ella dijo: ¡Oh señor mío! Vive tu alma(E), señor mío, yo soy la mujer que estuvo aquí junto a ti orando al Señor. 27 Por este niño oraba, y el Señor me ha concedido la petición que le hice[c](F). 28 Por lo cual yo también lo he dedicado[d] al Señor; todos los días de su vida estará dedicado[e](G) al Señor. Y adoró[f] allí al Señor(H).

24 After he was weaned, she took the boy with her, young as he was, along with a three-year-old bull,[a](A) an ephah[b] of flour and a skin of wine, and brought him to the house of the Lord at Shiloh. 25 When the bull had been sacrificed, they brought the boy to Eli, 26 and she said to him, “Pardon me, my lord. As surely as you live, I am the woman who stood here beside you praying to the Lord. 27 I prayed(B) for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him. 28 So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life(C) he will be given over to the Lord.” And he worshiped the Lord there.
