⁶ Jonathan said to the young man who carried his armor, “Come, let us go over to the garrison of these ^(A)uncircumcised. It may be that the Lord will work for us, ^(B)for nothing can hinder the Lord from saving by many or by few.”

²⁶ But Jesus ^(A)looked at them and said, ^(B)“With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

³¹ What then shall we say to these things? ^(A)If God is for us, who can be^[a] against us?

⁶ Then he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to ^(A)Zerubbabel: ^(B)Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts.

¹¹ And Asa ^(A)cried to the Lord his God, “O Lord, there is none like you to help, between the mighty and the weak. Help us, O Lord our God, ^(B)for we rely on you, ^(C)and in your name we have come against this multitude. O Lord, you are our God; let not man prevail against you.”

^26 (A)Egypt, Judah, Edom, the sons of Ammon, Moab, and ^(B)all who dwell in the desert who cut the corners of their hair, for all these nations are uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel are ^(C)uncircumcised in heart.”

¹² It may be that the Lord will look on the wrong done to me,^[a] and that the Lord will repay me with good for his cursing today.”
