2 «Yo estoy a punto de ir por el camino que todo mortal transita. ¡Cobra ánimo y pórtate como hombre! 3 Cumple las órdenes del Señor tu Dios; sigue sus caminos y cumple sus estatutos, mandamientos, ordenanzas y mandatos, los cuales están escritos en la Ley de Moisés. Así prosperarás en todo lo que hagas y por dondequiera que vayas, 4 y el Señor cumplirá esta promesa que me hizo: “Si tus descendientes cuidan su conducta y me son fieles con toda el alma y de todo corazón, nunca faltará un sucesor tuyo en el trono de Israel”.

2 “Madali na lang ako mapatay. Gani magpakabakod ka kag magpakaisog, 3 kag tumana ang mga ginapatuman sang Ginoo nga imo Dios. Magsunod ka sa iya mga pamaagi, kag tumana ang iya mga pagsulundan kag mga sugo nga nasulat sa Kasuguan ni Moises, agod magmainuswagon ka sa tanan mo nga ginahimo, bisan diin ka magkadto. 4 Kon himuon mo ini, tumanon sang Ginoo ang iya ginpromisa sa akon, nga kon ang akon mga kaliwat nagakabuhi sing husto kag nagasunod sa akon sing matutom sa bug-os nila nga kabuhi, may isa gid permi sa ila nga magahari sa Israel.

2 “I am about to go the way of all the earth,”(A) he said. “So be strong,(B) act like a man, 3 and observe(C) what the Lord your God requires: Walk in obedience to him, and keep his decrees and commands, his laws and regulations, as written in the Law of Moses. Do this so that you may prosper(D) in all you do and wherever you go 4 and that the Lord may keep his promise(E) to me: ‘If your descendants watch how they live, and if they walk faithfully(F) before me with all their heart and soul, you will never fail to have a successor on the throne of Israel.’
