5 pues David se había conducido de manera digna de aprobación por parte del Señor, ya que nunca en su vida se apartó de lo que el Señor le había mandado, excepto en el asunto de Urías el hitita.
6-7 Hubo guerra continuamente entre Roboam y Jeroboam mientras Roboam vivió. Y también hubo guerra entre Abiam y Jeroboam. El resto de la historia de Abiam y de todo lo que hizo, está escrito en el libro de las crónicas de los reyes de Judá.

5 Because David did that which was right in the eyes of the Lord, and turned not aside from any thing that he commanded him all the days of his life, save only in the matter of Uriah the Hittite.
6 And there was war between Rehoboam and Jeroboam all the days of his life.
7 Now the rest of the acts of Abijam, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? And there was war between Abijam and Jeroboam.

5 For David had done what was right in the eyes of the Lord and had not failed to keep(A) any of the Lord’s commands all the days of his life—except in the case of Uriah(B) the Hittite.
6 There was war(C) between Abijah[a] and Jeroboam throughout Abijah’s lifetime. 7 As for the other events of Abijah’s reign, and all he did, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Judah? There was war between Abijah and Jeroboam.
