14 So Abijah rested with his fathers, and they buried him in the City of David. Then ^(A)Asa his son reigned in his place. In his days the land was quiet for ten years.

^31 (A)So Rehoboam ^[a]rested with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the City of David. ^(B)His mother’s name was Naamah, an Ammonitess. Then ^(C)Abijam^[b] his son reigned in his place.

^7 (A)Solomon begot Rehoboam, Rehoboam begot ^(B)Abijah, and Abijah begot ^[a]Asa. ⁸ Asa begot ^(C)Jehoshaphat, Jehoshaphat begot Joram, and Joram begot ^(D)Uzziah.

⁹ These were all the sons of David, besides the sons of the concubines, and ^(A)Tamar their sister.

Judgment on the House of Jeroboam
