6 Si Jesus na naparito sa mundo ay napatunayang Anak ng Dios sa pamamagitan ng tubig nang magpabautismo siya at sa pamamagitan ng dugo nang mamatay siya. Hindi lang sa tubig kundi sa pamamagitan din ng dugo. At ang mga bagay na itoʼy pinatotohanan din sa atin ng Banal na Espiritu, dahil ang Espiritu ay katotohanan. 7 Kaya may tatlong nagpapatotoo tungkol kay Jesus: 8 ang Banal na Espiritu, ang tubig nang magpabautismo siya, at ang dugo nang mamatay siya. At ang tatlong itoʼy nagkakaisa.

6 Si Jesu-Cristo ang siyang pumarito sa pamamagitan ng tubig at ng dugo; hindi lamang sa pamamagitan ng tubig kundi ng tubig at ng dugo. Ang Espiritu ang nagpapatotoo sapagkat ang Espiritu ay katotohanan. 7 Sapagkat may tatlong nagpapatotoo:[a] 8 ang Espiritu, ang tubig at ang dugo, at ang tatlong ito ay nagkakaisa.

And it is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.(B) 7 For there are three(C) that testify: 8 the[a] Spirit, the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement.
