1 John 4:3-9

³and every spirit that ^(A)does not confess Jesus is not from God; this is the spirit of the ^(B)antichrist, which you have heard is coming, and ^(C)now it is already in the world. ⁴You are from God, ^(D)little children, and ^(E)have overcome them; because ^(F)greater is He who is in you than ^(G)he who is in the world. ⁵^(H)They are from the world, therefore they speak as from the world, and the world listens to them. ⁶^(I)We are from God. ^(J)The one who knows God listens to us; ^(K)the one who is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know ^(L)the spirit of truth and ^(M)the spirit of error.

God Is Love

⁷^(N)Beloved, let’s ^(O)love one another; for love is from God, and ^(P)everyone who loves has been ^(Q)born of God and ^(R)knows God. ⁸The one who does not love does not know God, because ^(S)God is love. ⁹By this the love of God was revealed ^[a]^(T)in us, that ^(U)God has sent His only Son into the world so that we may live through Him.
