1 John 3:21-4:6

21 Beloved, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have boldness before God; 22 and we receive from him whatever we ask, because we obey his commandments and do what pleases him.
23 And this is his commandment, that we should believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he has commanded us. 24 All who obey his commandments abide in him, and he abides in them. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit that he has given us.
Testing the Spirits
4 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God; for many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess Jesus[a] is not from God. And this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming; and now it is already in the world. 4 Little children, you are from God, and have conquered them; for the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. 5 They are from the world; therefore what they say is from the world, and the world listens to them. 6 We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us, and whoever is not from God does not listen to us. From this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

Il discernimento degli spiriti
4 (A)Carissimi, non crediate a ogni spirito, ma provate gli spiriti per sapere se sono da Dio; perché molti falsi profeti sono sorti nel mondo. 2 Da questo conoscete lo Spirito di Dio: ogni spirito, il quale riconosce pubblicamente che Gesù Cristo è venuto nella carne, è da Dio; 3 e ogni spirito che non riconosce pubblicamente Gesù[b], non è da Dio, ma è lo spirito dell’anticristo. Voi avete sentito che deve venire; e ora è già nel mondo.
4 Voi siete da Dio, figlioli, e li avete vinti, perché colui che è in voi è più grande di colui che è nel mondo. 5 Costoro sono del mondo; perciò parlano come chi è del mondo e il mondo li ascolta. 6 Noi siamo da Dio; chi conosce Dio ascolta noi, chi non è da Dio non ci ascolta. 22 und was immer wir bitten, das empfangen wir von ihm, weil wir seine Gebote halten und tun, was vor ihm wohlgefällig ist.
23 Und das ist sein Gebot, dass wir glauben an den Namen seines Sohnes Jesus Christus und einander lieben, nach dem Gebot, das er uns gegeben hat.
24 Und wer seine Gebote hält, der bleibt in Ihm und Er in ihm; und daran erkennen wir, dass Er in uns bleibt: an dem Geist, den Er uns gegeben hat.
Notwendigkeit, die Geister zu prüfen
4 Geliebte, glaubt nicht jedem Geist, sondern prüft die Geister, ob sie aus Gott sind! Denn es sind viele falsche Propheten in die Welt ausgegangen.
2 Daran erkennt ihr den Geist Gottes: Jeder Geist, der bekennt, dass Jesus Christus im Fleisch gekommen ist,[a] der ist aus Gott;
3 und jeder Geist, der nicht bekennt, dass Jesus Christus im Fleisch gekommen ist, der ist nicht aus Gott. Und das ist der [Geist] des Antichristen, von dem ihr gehört habt, dass er kommt; und jetzt schon ist er in der Welt.
4 Kinder, ihr seid aus Gott und habt jene überwunden, weil der, welcher in euch ist, größer ist als der, welcher in der Welt ist.
5 Sie sind aus der Welt; darum reden sie von der Welt, und die Welt hört auf sie.
6 Wir sind aus Gott. Wer Gott erkennt, hört auf uns; wer nicht aus Gott ist, hört nicht auf uns. Daran erkennen wir den Geist der Wahrheit und den Geist des Irrtums[b].

Distinguer les vrais prophètes des prophètes de mensonge
4 Mais attention, mes chers amis, ne vous fiez pas à n’importe quel esprit ; mettez les esprits à l’épreuve pour voir s’ils viennent de Dieu, car bien des prophètes de mensonge se sont répandus à travers le monde. 2 Voici comment savoir s’il s’agit de l’Esprit de Dieu : tout esprit qui reconnaît que c’est pleinement humain que Jésus est venu, vient de Dieu. 3 Tout esprit, au contraire, qui ne reconnaît pas ce Jésus-là[a] ne vient pas de Dieu. C’est là l’esprit de « l’anti-Christ » dont vous avez entendu annoncer la venue. Eh bien, dès à présent, cet esprit est dans le monde. 4 Vous, mes enfants, vous êtes de Dieu et vous avez la victoire sur ces prophètes de mensonge, car celui qui est en vous est plus puissant que celui qui inspire ce monde. 5 Eux, ils font partie du monde. Faith Conquers the World
5 Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ[d] has been born of God, and everyone who loves the parent loves the child. 2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and obey his commandments. 3 For the love of God is this, that we obey his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome, 4 for whatever is born of God conquers the world. And this is the victory that conquers the world, our faith. 5 Who is it that conquers the world but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
