16 Nagpagawa si Haring Solomon ng 200 malalaking pananggalang na ang bawat isa ay nababalutan ng mga pitong[a] kilong ginto. 17 Nagpagawa rin siya ng 300 maliliit na pananggalang na ang bawat isa ay nababalutan din ng ginto na mga tatlo at kalahating kilo. Pinalagay niya ang lahat ng ito sa bahagi ng palasyo na tinatawag na Kagubatan ng Lebanon.
18 Nagpagawa rin ang hari ng isang malaking trono na gawa sa mga pangil ng elepante at binalutan ito ng purong ginto.

16 King Solomon made two hundred large shields(A) of hammered gold; six hundred shekels[a] of gold went into each shield. 17 He also made three hundred small shields of hammered gold, with three minas[b] of gold in each shield. The king put them in the Palace of the Forest of Lebanon.(B)
18 Then the king made a great throne covered with ivory and overlaid with fine gold.
