2 Sinumang nag-aakala na mayroon siyang alam ay hindi pa niya alam ang dapat niyang malaman. 3 Ngunit sinumang umiibig sa Diyos, ang taong ito ay kinikilala ng Diyos. 4 Kaya't tungkol sa pagkain ng mga inialay sa mga diyus-diyosan, alam natin na walang totoong diyos na inilalarawan ng mga diyus-diyosan sa sanlibutan, at walang Diyos maliban sa isa.

New International Version
2 Those who think they know something(A) do not yet know as they ought to know.(B) 3 But whoever loves God is known by God.[a](C)
4 So then, about eating food sacrificed to idols:(D) We know that “An idol is nothing at all in the world”(E) and that “There is no God but one.”(F)
