⁵⁵“Nasaan na, ^(A) kamatayan, ang iyong tagumpay?
Nasaan na, kamatayan, ang iyong kamandag?”

⁵⁶Ang kamandag ng kamatayan ay ang kasalanan, at ang kapangyarihan ng kasalanan ay nagmumula sa Kautusan. ⁵⁷Subalit salamat sa Diyos! Pinagtatagumpay niya tayo sa pamamagitan ng ating Panginoong Jesu-Cristo.
