15 Así nadie puede decir que fue bautizado en mi nombre. 16 También bauticé a la familia de Estéfanas, pero no recuerdo haber bautizado a ningún otro, 17 pues Cristo no me mandó a bautizar, sino a anunciar el evangelio, y no con alardes de sabiduría y retórica, para no quitarle valor a la muerte de Cristo en la cruz.

15 so no one can say that you were baptized in my name. 16 (Yes, I also baptized the household(A) of Stephanas;(B) beyond that, I don’t remember if I baptized anyone else.) 17 For Christ did not send me to baptize,(C) but to preach the gospel—not with wisdom(D) and eloquence, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power.
