¹⁵ Do you not know that ^(A)your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? Never!

³⁰ because ^(A)we are members of his body.

⁵ so we, ^(A)though many, ^(B)are one body in Christ, and individually ^(C)members one of another.

¹⁹ and ^(A)not ^(B)holding fast to the Head, from whom the whole body, nourished and knit together through its joints and ligaments, grows with a growth that is from God.

¹⁵ Rather, ^(A)speaking the truth in love, we are to ^(B)grow up in every way into him who is ^(C)the head, into Christ, ^16 (D)from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, ^(E)when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.

²⁷ Now ^(A)you are the body of Christ and individually ^(B)members of it.

^12 (A)to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for ^(B)building up ^(C)the body of Christ,

³ But I want you to understand that ^(A)the head of every man is Christ, ^(B)the head of a wife^[a] is her husband,^[b] and ^(C)the head of Christ is God.

¹⁹ Or ^(A)do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? ^(B)You are not your own,

^16 (A)He will ^(B)come and destroy those tenants and ^(C)give the vineyard to others.” When they heard this, they said, “Surely not!”
