² And though I have the gift of ^(A)prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, ^(B)so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

⁸ He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

³ And ^(A)though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body ^[a]to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.

²⁰ So Jesus said to them, “Because of your ^[a]unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, ^(A)if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

Obedience by Faith

^20 (A)If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, ^[a]how can he love God ^(B)whom he has not seen? ²¹ And ^(C)this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.

²² If anyone ^(A)does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, ^(B)let him be ^[a]accursed. ^(C)O^[b] Lord, come!

⁸ for to one is given ^(A)the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another ^(B)the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, ^9 (C)to another faith by the same Spirit, to another ^(D)gifts of healings by ^[a]the same Spirit, ^10 (E)to another the working of miracles, to another ^(F)prophecy, to another ^(G)discerning of spirits, to another ^(H)different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.

²¹ So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, ^(A)if you have faith and ^(B)do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, ^(C)but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done.
