19 Give my son Solomon an undivided heart to keep and to carry out all your commands, your decrees, and your statutes,(A) and to build the building for which I have made provision.(B)

20 Then David said to the whole assembly, “Blessed be the Lord your God.” So the whole assembly praised the Lord God of their ancestors.(C) They knelt low and paid homage to the Lord and the king.(D)

21 The following day they offered sacrifices to the Lord and burnt offerings to the Lord: a thousand bulls, a thousand rams, and a thousand lambs, along with their drink offerings, and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel.(E)

20 Then David said to all the assembly, (D)“Bless the Lord your God.” And all the assembly blessed the Lord, the God of their fathers, (E)and bowed their heads and paid homage to the Lord and to the king. 21 And they offered sacrifices to the Lord, and on the next day offered burnt offerings to the Lord, 1,000 bulls, 1,000 rams, and 1,000 lambs, with their (F)drink offerings, and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel.
