Number and Services of Musicians
25 Moreover, David and the commanders of the army set apart for the service some of the sons of (A)Asaph, Heman, and Jeduthun, who were to (B)prophesy with lyres, (C)harps, and cymbals; and the number of [a]those who performed this service was: 2 Of the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah, and [b]Asharelah; the sons of Asaph were [c]under the direction of Asaph, who prophesied [d]under the direction of the king. 3 (D)Of Jeduthun, the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, [e]Zeri, Jeshaiah, [f]Shimei, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six in all, [g]under the direction of their father Jeduthun with the harp, who prophesied in giving thanks and praising the Lord. 4 Of Heman, the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, [h]Uzziel, [i]Shebuel and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti and Romamti-ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth. 5 All these were the sons of Heman (E)the king’s seer to [j]exalt him according to the words of God, for God gave fourteen sons and three daughters to Heman. 6 All of these were under the [k]direction of their father to sing in the house of the Lord, (F)with cymbals, harps, and lyres, for the service of the house of God. (G)Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman were [l]under the direction of the king. 7 Their number who were trained in singing to the Lord, with their relatives, all who were skillful, was (H)288.
Divisions of the Musicians
8 (I)They cast lots for their duties, all alike, the small as well as the great, the teacher as well as the pupil.
9 Now the first lot came out for Asaph to Joseph, the second for Gedaliah, he with his relatives and sons were twelve; 10 the third to Zaccur, his sons and his relatives, twelve; 11 the fourth to [m]Izri, his sons and his relatives, twelve; 12 the fifth to Nethaniah, his sons and his relatives, twelve; 13 the sixth to Bukkiah, his sons and his relatives, twelve; 14 the seventh to [n]Jesharelah, his sons and his relatives, twelve; 15 the eighth to Jeshaiah, his sons and his relatives, twelve; 16 the ninth to Mattaniah, his sons and his relatives, twelve; 17 the tenth to Shimei, his sons and his relatives, twelve; 18 the eleventh to Azarel, his sons and his relatives, twelve; 19 the twelfth to Hashabiah, his sons and his relatives, twelve; 20 for the thirteenth, Shubael, his sons and his relatives, twelve; 21 for the fourteenth, Mattithiah, his sons and his relatives, twelve; 22 for the fifteenth to Jeremoth, his sons and his relatives, twelve; 23 for the sixteenth to Hananiah, his sons and his relatives, twelve; 24 for the seventeenth to Joshbekashah, his sons and his relatives, twelve; 25 for the eighteenth to Hanani, his sons and his relatives, twelve; 26 for the nineteenth to Mallothi, his sons and his relatives, twelve; 27 for the twentieth to Eliathah, his sons and his relatives, twelve; 28 for the twenty-first to Hothir, his sons and his relatives, twelve; 29 for the twenty-second to Giddalti, his sons and his relatives, twelve; 30 for the twenty-third to Mahazioth, his sons and his relatives, twelve; 31 for the twenty-fourth to Romamti-ezer, his sons and his relatives, twelve.

25 Además, David y los jefes del ejército separaron para el servicio a algunos de los hijos de Asaf(A), de Hemán y de Jedutún, que habían de profetizar(B) con liras, arpas y címbalos(C); y el número de estos[a], conforme a su servicio fue: 2 de los hijos de Asaf: Zacur, José, Netanías y Asarela; los hijos de Asaf estaban bajo la dirección de Asaf, que profetizaba bajo la dirección del rey. 3 De Jedutún(D), los hijos de Jedutún: Gedalías, Zeri, Jesaías, Simei, Hasabías y Matatías: seis, bajo la dirección de su padre Jedutún con la lira, que profetizaban dando gracias y alabando al Señor. 4 De Hemán, los hijos de Hemán: Buquías, Matanías, Uziel, Sebuel, Jeremot, Hananías, Hananí, Eliata, Gidalti, Romanti Ezer, Josbecasa, Maloti, Hotir y Mahaziot. 5 Todos estos fueron los hijos de Hemán, el vidente del rey(E), para ensalzarlo conforme a las palabras de Dios, porque Dios dio a Hemán catorce hijos y tres hijas. 6 Todos estos estaban bajo la dirección de su padre para cantar en la casa del Señor, con címbalos, arpas y liras(F), para el servicio de la casa de Dios. Asaf(G), Jedutún y Hemán estaban bajo la dirección del rey. 7 El número de los que fueron instruidos en el canto al Señor, con sus parientes[b], todos los que eran hábiles, fue de 288(H). 8 Y echaron suertes para designar sus cargos, todos por igual, tanto el pequeño como el grande(I), tanto el maestro como el discípulo.

The Musicians
25 David, together with the commanders of the army, set apart some of the sons of Asaph,(A) Heman(B) and Jeduthun(C) for the ministry of prophesying,(D) accompanied by harps, lyres and cymbals.(E) Here is the list of the men(F) who performed this service:(G)
2 From the sons of Asaph:
Zakkur, Joseph, Nethaniah and Asarelah. The sons of Asaph were under the supervision of Asaph, who prophesied under the king’s supervision.
3 As for Jeduthun, from his sons:(H)
Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Shimei,[a] Hashabiah and Mattithiah, six in all, under the supervision of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied, using the harp(I) in thanking and praising the Lord.
4 As for Heman, from his sons:
Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shubael and Jerimoth; Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti and Romamti-Ezer; Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir and Mahazioth. 5 (All these were sons of Heman the king’s seer. They were given him through the promises of God to exalt him. God gave Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.)
6 All these men were under the supervision of their father(J) for the music of the temple of the Lord, with cymbals, lyres and harps, for the ministry at the house of God.
Asaph, Jeduthun and Heman(K) were under the supervision of the king.(L) 7 Along with their relatives—all of them trained and skilled in music for the Lord—they numbered 288. 8 Young and old alike, teacher as well as student, cast lots(M) for their duties.

25 Nagpili si David kag ang mga kumander sang mga soldado sang mga tawo halin sa mga anak ni Asaf, Heman, kag Jedutun. Ginpili sila sa pagsugid sang mensahi sang Dios nga ginatukaran sang mga arpa, lira, kag mga simbals. Amo ini ang lista sang ila mga ngalan kag mga obra:
2 Halin sa mga anak nga lalaki ni Asaf: si Zacur, Jose, Netania, kag Asarela. Nag-obra sila sa idalom sang pagdumala sang ila amay nga si Asaf. Nagasugid si Asaf sang mensahi sang Dios kon magsugo ang hari.
3 Halin sa mga anak nga lalaki ni Jedutun: si Gedalia, Zeri, Jeshaya, Shimei,[a] Hashabia, kag Mattitia, anom sila tanan. Nag-obra man sila sa idalom sang pagdumala sang ila amay nga si Jedutun. 4 Halin sa mga anak nga lalaki ni Heman: si Bukia, Matania, Uziel, Shebuel,[b] Jerimot, Hanania, Hanani, Eliata, Gidalti, Romamti Ezer, Joshbekasha, Maloti, Hotir, kag Mahaziot. 5 Sila tanan mga anak ni Heman nga propeta sang hari. Ginpadunggan siya sang Dios paagi sa paghatag sa iya sang 14 ka anak nga lalaki kag tatlo ka babayi, suno sa promisa sang Dios sa iya.
6 Ini tanan nga mga lalaki ginadumalahan sang ila amay sa ila nga pagtukar sang mga simbals, lira, kag mga arpa sa ila pag-alagad sa balay sang Dios. Si Asaf, Jedutun, kag Heman ginadumalahan sang hari. 7 Sila kag ang ila mga paryente, nga 288 tanan, mga maayo gid nga mga musikero para sa Ginoo. 8 Naggabot-gabot sila agod mahibaluan ang tagsa nila ka responsibilidad, pamatan-on man ukon tigulang, manunudlo man ukon estudyante.

15 Ang ikawalo amo si Jeshaya kag ang iya mga anak kag mga paryente; dose man sila.
16 Ang ikasiyam amo si Matania kag ang iya mga anak kag mga paryente; dose man sila.
17 Ang ikanapulo amo si Shimei kag ang iya mga anak kag mga paryente; dose man sila.
18 Ang ika-11 amo si Azarel[f] kag ang iya mga anak kag mga paryente; dose man sila.
