^25 (A)Their territory was Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, ^(B)and half the land of the Ammonites as far as Aroer, which is before ^(C)Rabbah, ²⁶ and from Heshbon to Ramath Mizpah and Betonim, and from Mahanaim to the border of Debir,

²⁴ “ ‘Rise, take your journey, and ^(A)cross over the River Arnon. Look, I have given into your hand ^(B)Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land. Begin ^[a]to possess it, and engage him in battle.

32 Now the children of Reuben and the children of Gad had a very great multitude of livestock; and when they saw the land of ^(B)Jazer and the land of ^(C)Gilead, that indeed the region was a place for livestock,

³² Then Moses sent to ^[a]spy out ^(A)Jazer; and they took its villages and drove out the Amorites who were there.

²⁵ So Israel took all these cities, and Israel ^(A)dwelt in all the cities of the Amorites, in Heshbon and in all its villages.
