¹⁰ Solomon’s son was ^(B)Rehoboam; ^[a]Abijah was his son, Asa his son, Jehoshaphat his son,

^43 (A)Then Solomon ^[a]rested with his fathers, and was buried in the City of David his father. And Rehoboam his son reigned in his ^(B)place.

Jehoshaphat Reigns in Judah

17 Then ^(A)Jehoshaphat his son reigned in his place, and strengthened himself against Israel.

²⁴ So Asa ^[a]rested with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the City of David his father. ^(A)Then ^(B)Jehoshaphat his son reigned in his place.

^8 (A)So Abijam ^[a]rested with his fathers, and they buried him in the City of David. Then Asa his son reigned in his place.

^31 (A)So Rehoboam ^[a]rested with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the City of David. ^(B)His mother’s name was Naamah, an Ammonitess. Then ^(C)Abijam^[b] his son reigned in his place.

Abijam Reigns in Judah^(D)

15 ^(E)In the eighteenth year of King Jeroboam the son of Nebat, Abijam became king over Judah.

^7 (A)Solomon begot Rehoboam, Rehoboam begot ^(B)Abijah, and Abijah begot ^[a]Asa. ⁸ Asa begot ^(C)Jehoshaphat, Jehoshaphat begot Joram, and Joram begot ^(D)Uzziah.

Asa Reigns over Judah

14 So Abijah rested with his fathers, and they buried him in the City of David. Then ^(A)Asa his son reigned in his place. In his days the land was quiet for ten years.

13 In ^(B)the eighteenth year of King Jeroboam, Abijah became king over ^(C)Judah.
