Amen.

¹⁷ Command those who are rich in ^(U)this present age ^(V)not to be haughty or to ^(W)set their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, ^(X)who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy. ¹⁸ Command them to do good, to be rich in ^(Y)good ^[e]works, ^(Z)to be generous and ready to share, ^19 (AA)storing up for themselves the treasure of a good foundation for the future, so that they may ^(AB)take hold of that which is life indeed.

²⁰ O ^(AC)Timothy, guard ^(AD)what has been entrusted to you, turning aside from ^(AE)godless and empty chatter and the opposing arguments of what is falsely called knowledge— ²¹ which some, while professing, have ^(AF)gone astray ^[f]from ^(AG)the faith.

¹⁴ Therefore, since we have a great ^(A)high priest who has ^(B)passed through the heavens, Jesus ^(C)the Son of God, let us take hold of our ^(D)confession.

²³ Let us hold fast the ^(A)confession of our ^(B)hope without wavering, for ^(C)He who promised is faithful.
