15 See to it that no one repays evil for evil(A) to anyone,(B) but always pursue what is good for one another and for all.(C)
16 Rejoice(D) always!
17 Pray constantly.
18 Give thanks in everything,
for this is God’s will(E) for you in Christ Jesus.
19 Don’t stifle the Spirit.
20 Don’t despise prophecies,
21 but test all things.(F)
Hold on to what is good.
22 Stay away(G) from every kind of evil.
23 Now may the God of peace(H) Himself sanctify you completely. And may your spirit,(I) soul, and body be kept sound and blameless for the coming(J) of our Lord(K) Jesus Christ.(L) 24 He who calls(M) you(N) is faithful, who also will do it. 25 Brothers, pray for us also. 26 Greet all the brothers with a holy kiss. 27 I charge you by the Lord that this letter be read to all the brothers.(O) 28 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

15 Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong,(A) but always strive to do what is good for each other(B) and for everyone else.
16 Rejoice always,(C) 17 pray continually,(D) 18 give thanks in all circumstances;(E) for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
19 Do not quench the Spirit.(F) 20 Do not treat prophecies(G) with contempt 21 but test them all;(H) hold on to what is good,(I) 22 reject every kind of evil.
23 May God himself, the God of peace,(J) sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul(K) and body be kept blameless(L) at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.(M) 24 The one who calls(N) you is faithful,(O) and he will do it.(P)
