10 Then ^(A)Samuel took the flask of oil, poured it on his head, ^(B)kissed him, and said, “Has not ^(C)Yahweh anointed you a ruler over ^(D)His inheritance?

⁶ So he said to his men, “^(A)Far be it from me because of Yahweh that I should do this thing to my lord, the anointed of Yahweh, to send forth my hand against him, since he is the anointed of Yahweh.”

¹⁴ Then David said to him, “How is it you were not afraid ^(A)to send forth your hand to destroy the anointed of Yahweh?”
