1 Samuel 1:26-2:1
English Standard Version
26 And she said, “Oh, my lord! (A)As you live, my lord, I am the woman who was standing here in your presence, praying to the Lord. 27 For this child I prayed, (B)and the Lord has granted me my petition that I made to him. 28 Therefore I have lent him to the Lord. As long as he lives, he is lent to the Lord.”
(C)And he worshiped the Lord there.
Hannah's Prayer
2 And Hannah prayed and said,

New International Version
26 and she said to him, “Pardon me, my lord. As surely as you live, I am the woman who stood here beside you praying to the Lord. 27 I prayed(A) for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him. 28 So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life(B) he will be given over to the Lord.” And he worshiped the Lord there.
