⁹ So ^(A)give Your slave a listening heart to judge Your people ^(B)to discern between good and evil. For who is able to ^[a]judge this glorious people of Yours?”

¹¹ And God said to him, “Because you have asked this thing and have ^(A)not asked for yourself ^[a]long life, nor have asked riches for yourself, nor have you asked for the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself discernment to listen to justice,

²⁶ Then he said to him, “Did not my heart go with you, when the man turned from his chariot to meet you? ^(A)Is it a time to receive money and to receive clothes and olive groves and vineyards and sheep and oxen and male and female slaves?

Do Not Worry

²⁵ “^(A)For this reason I say to you, ^[a]do not be ^(B)worried about your ^[b]life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?

³² For all these things the Gentiles eagerly seek; for ^(A)your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.

¹⁶ by ^(A)being of the same mind toward one another, ^(B)not being haughty in mind, but ^[a]associating with the humble. ^(C)Do not be wise in your own mind.
