⁴⁶But ^(A)the hand of Yahweh was on Elijah, and ^(B)he girded up his loins and ^[a]outran Ahab unto where you enter Jezreel.

New International Version

⁴⁶The power^(A) of the Lord came on Elijah and, tucking his cloak into his belt,^(B) he ran ahead of Ahab all the way to Jezreel.

³Now ^(A)gird up your loins like a man,
And ^(B)I will ask you, and you make Me know!

³Brace yourself like a man;
I will question you,
and you shall answer me.^(A)
