33 And the king said to them, “Take with you (A)the servants of your lord, and have my son Solomon ride on my own mule, and bring him down to (B)Gihon. 34 And Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet shall (C)anoint him there as king over Israel and (D)blow the trumpet and say, ‘(E)Long live King Solomon!’ 35 Then you shall come up after him, and he shall come and sit on my throne. And he shall be king in my place; for I have commanded him to be ruler over Israel and Judah.”

New International Version
33 he said to them: “Take your lord’s servants with you and have Solomon my son mount my own mule(A) and take him down to Gihon.(B) 34 There have Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet anoint(C) him king over Israel. Blow the trumpet(D) and shout, ‘Long live King Solomon!’ 35 Then you are to go up with him, and he is to come and sit on my throne and reign in my place. I have appointed him ruler over Israel and Judah.”
