³⁰ And it was Hezekiah who ^(A)stopped the upper outlet of the waters of ^(B)Gihon and directed them to the west side of the city of David. And Hezekiah succeeded in all that he did.

¹⁴ Afterwards, he built the outer wall of the city of David on the west side of ^(A)Gihon, in the valley, even to the entrance of the ^(B)Fish Gate; and he encircled the ^(C)Ophel with it and made it very high. Then he put military commanders in all the fortified cities of Judah.
