3 With me it is but a very small thing if I am judged by you, or by man’s day. No, I do not judge my own self. 4 I know nothing against myself, yet I am not thereby justified. It is the Lord who judges me. 5 Therefore, judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will shed light on things that are hid in darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts. And then shall each have praise from God.

3 I care very little if I am judged by you or by any human court; indeed, I do not even judge myself. 4 My conscience(A) is clear, but that does not make me innocent.(B) It is the Lord who judges me.(C) 5 Therefore judge nothing(D) before the appointed time; wait until the Lord comes.(E) He will bring to light(F) what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of the heart. At that time each will receive their praise from God.(G)
