¹⁵If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames.^(A)

¹⁵If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

⁸^(A)in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those ^(B)who do not know God and on those who ^(C)do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.

⁸He will punish^(A) those who do not know God^(B) and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.^(C)

⁸In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
