¹² Now ^(A)we have received not ^(B)the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God.

^13 (A)By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.

¹¹ And we desire each one of you to show the same earnestness to have the full assurance ^(A)of hope until the end, ¹² so that you may not be sluggish, but ^(B)imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

^17 (A)so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being ^(B)rooted and ^(C)grounded in love, ¹⁸ may have strength to ^(D)comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and ^(E)height and depth, ¹⁹ and to know the love of Christ ^(F)that surpasses knowledge, that ^(G)you may be filled with all ^(H)the fullness of God.
