3 Let us bring the Ark of God to where we are, for they did not make inquiry at it during the reign of Saul.”
4 The whole assembly said that they would do this, for all of the people considered it to be the right thing to do. 5 David assembled all of Israel, from the Shihor[a] in Egypt up to Lebo-hamath, to bring the Ark of God from Kiriath-jearim.

3 Let us bring the ark of our God back to us,(A) for we did not inquire(B) of[a] it[b] during the reign of Saul.” 4 The whole assembly agreed to do this, because it seemed right to all the people.
5 So David assembled all Israel,(C) from the Shihor River(D) in Egypt to Lebo Hamath,(E) to bring the ark of God from Kiriath Jearim.(F)
