³¹ Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.”^[a](A)

¹⁹ For the wisdom of this world is foolishness^(A) in God’s sight. As it is written: “He catches the wise in their craftiness”^[a];^(B)

¹² What I mean is this: One of you says, “I follow Paul”;^(A) another, “I follow Apollos”;^(B) another, “I follow Cephas^[a]”;^(C) still another, “I follow Christ.”
