유다의 죄와 형벌
17 여호와께서 말씀하신다. “유다의 죄는 그들의 마음과 제단 뿔에 철필과 금강석 촉으로 새겨졌다.
2 그들의 자녀들까지도 산언덕의 푸른 나무 곁에 세워진 단들과 아세라 여신상을 잘 기억하고 있다.
3 들에 있는 나의 산아, 네가 온 땅에 범죄하였으므로 내가 너의 재산과 모든 보물과 산당을 약탈당하게 하겠다.
4 너는 네 자신의 잘못으로 내가 너에게 준 유산을 잃어버리게 될 것이다. 내가 너를 낯선 땅에서 네 원수를 섬기게 하겠다. 이것은 네가 내 분노의 불을 일으켜 영원히 타오르게 하였기 때문이다.”
5 여호와께서 말씀하신다. “사람을 의지하고 나 여호와를 떠난 사람은 저주를 받을 것이다.
6 그는 사막의 가시덤불 같을 것이며 아무런 희망도 없이 사람이 살지 않는 사막의 메마르고 염분이 많은 땅에서 살게 될 것이다.
7 그러나 나 여호와를 믿고 의지하는 사람은 복을 받을 것이다.
8 그는 물가에 심겨져서 그 뿌리를 시내로 뻗어 더위가 와도 두려워하지 않고, 그 잎이 언제나 푸르고 싱싱하며, 가뭄이 심한 해에도 걱정이 없고, 항상 열매를 맺는 나무와 같은 자이다.
9 “그 무엇보다도 거짓되고 부패한 것은 사람의 마음이다. 누가 그런 마음을 알 수 있겠는가?
10 그러나 나 여호와는 마음을 살피고 그 깊은 동기를 조사해서 각 사람이 행한 대로 갚아 주겠다.
11 부정한 방법으로 돈을 모아 부자가 된 사람은 자기가 낳지 않은 알을 품고 있는 자고새와 같아서 언젠가는 그것이 자고새를 버리고 날아가 버리듯 그의 부도 조만간에 그를 떠날 것이니 결국 그는 어리석은 자가 되고 말 것이다.”
12 우리의 성소는 영광스러운 보좌와 같아서 처음부터 높은 산 위에 서 있습니다.
13 이스라엘의 희망이신 여호와여, 주를 버리는 자는 모두 수치를 당할 것입니다. 여호와를 떠나는 자들이 [a]흙에 기록된 이름처럼 사라질 것은 그들이 생수의 샘이신 여호와를 버렸기 때문입니다.
14 여호와여, 주는 내가 찬양하는 분이십니다. 나를 고치소서. 그러면 내가 낫겠습니다. 나를 건지소서. 그러면 내가 구원을 얻겠습니다.
15 사람들이 나에게 “여호와의 말씀이 어디 있느냐? 있으면 당장 그 말씀이 이루어지게 하라” 고 말합니다.
16 내가 목자의 직분에서 떠나지 않았으며 재앙의 날을 원치 않았던 것을 주는 아십니다. 또 주께서는 내가 한 말도 다 알고 계십니다.
17 주는 나에게 두려움이 되지 마소서. 재앙의 날에 주는 나의 피난처이십니다.
18 나를 박해하는 자들이 수치를 당하게 하시고 내가 수치를 당하는 일이 없게 하소서. 그들을 놀라게 하시고 나는 놀라지 않게 하시며 재앙을 내리셔서 그들을 아주 없애 버리소서.
안식일을 거룩하게 지켜라
19 여호와께서 나에게 말씀하셨다. “너는 가서 유다 왕들이 드나드는 백성들의 문과 예루살렘의 모든 문에 서서
20 백성들에게 말하라: 이 문으로 들어오는 유다 왕들과 유다와 예루살렘의 모든 백성들아, 여호와의 말씀을 들어라.
21 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하셨다. ‘너희는 안식일에 짐을 지고 예루살렘의 문으로 들어오지 않도록 조심하라.
22 안식일에는 너희 집에서 짐을 실어내거나 아무 일도 하지 말고 내가 너희 조상들에게 명령한 대로 안식일을 거룩하게 지켜라.
23 너희 조상들은 내 말에 귀를 기울여 듣지 않고 오히려 고집을 피우며 불순종하고 가르침을 받으려고 하지 않았다.
24 “ ‘그러나 만일 너희가 내 말을 유의해서 듣고 안식일에 짐을 지고 이 성문으로 들어오지 않으며 아무 일도 하지 않고 안식일을 거룩하게 지키면
25 다윗의 왕위를 계승하는 왕들과 그 신하들이 전차와 말을 타고 유다와 예루살렘 백성과 함께 이 성문으로 들어올 것이며 예루살렘은 영구히 번영을 누릴 것이다.
26 그리고 유다 성들과 예루살렘 주변의 마을들과 베냐민 땅과 저지대와 산간 지대와 [b]네겝 지방에서 사람들이 불로 태워 바칠 번제물과 희생제물과 소제로 드릴 곡식과 향과 감사의 제물을 가지고 나 여호와의 집으로 찾아올 것이다.
27 그러나 만일 너희가 내 말에 불순종하여 안식일을 거룩하게 지키지 않고 안식일에 짐을 지고 예루살렘 성문으로 들어오면 내가 성문에 불을 놓아 예루살렘 궁전을 삼켜 버릴 것이니 그 불이 꺼지지 않을 것이다.’ ”

17 “犹大人的罪是用铁笔记录的，用钻石镌刻的，写在了他们心坎上和祭坛角上。 2 他们的儿女没有忘记绿树下、高岗上、 3 山野间的丘坛和亚舍拉神像。因为他们境内的罪恶，我必使敌人掳掠他们的财宝和神庙。 4 他们必失去我赐给他们的产业，被敌人掳到异乡做奴隶，因为他们激起了我的怒火，永难熄灭。”
5 耶和华说：
“信靠世人、倚靠血肉之躯、
背叛耶和华的人该受咒诅！
6 这样的人毫无福乐，
像沙漠中的灌木。
他要住在旷野中干旱无人的盐碱地。
7 信靠耶和华、倚靠耶和华的人有福了！
8 这样的人像一棵栽在水边的树，
根扎入水中，
不怕炎热，不怕干旱，
绿叶如荫，不断结果。
9 “人心比什么都诡诈，
无可救药，
谁能识透呢？
10 我耶和华鉴察人心，
察看人的意念，
按照人的行为报应人。”
11 谋取不义之财的人就像孵其他鸟蛋的鹧鸪，
他中年便会失去不义之财，
最后成了愚昧之人。
12 我们的圣殿是从太初就矗立在高处的荣耀宝座。
13 耶和华啊，你是以色列的盼望。
背弃你的人必蒙羞，
背叛你的人必像写在尘土上的名字一样消逝，
因为他们背弃了耶和华——活水的源泉。
14 耶和华啊，
你医治我，我必痊愈；
你拯救我，我必脱离危难，
因为你是我所赞美的。
15 人们常讥讽我说：“耶和华说的那些事在哪里？
怎么还没有实现呢？”
16 但我并没有逃避牧养你子民的工作，
也没有求你降祸给他们。
你知道我说的每一句话。
17 你是我患难中的避难所，
求你不要使我恐惧。
18 愿你使那些迫害我的人蒙羞，
不要使我蒙羞；
愿你使他们惊慌，
不要使我惊慌。
求你使他们大祸临头，
彻底毁灭他们。
遵守安息日
19 耶和华对我说：“你去站在犹大君王出入的城门前和耶路撒冷的各城门前， 20 宣告，‘从这些城门进出的犹大君王、百姓以及耶路撒冷的居民啊，你们都要听耶和华的话。 21 耶和华说，如果你们想保住性命，就要小心，不要在安息日带货物进耶路撒冷的城门， 22 也不要从家中运出货物，不要在安息日做任何工作。要按照我对你们祖先的吩咐守安息日为圣日。 23 然而，他们却不听，毫不理会，顽固不化，不肯受教。
24 “‘耶和华说，你们要留心听我的话，在安息日不可运货物进耶路撒冷的城门，不可做任何工作，要守安息日为圣日。 25 这样，坐大卫宝座的君王及其官员必乘车骑马和犹大人以及耶路撒冷的居民从城门出入。这城必永远有人居住。 26 人们必带着燔祭、平安祭、素祭、乳香和感恩祭从犹大的城邑、耶路撒冷四周、便雅悯地区、丘陵、山区和南地去耶和华的殿。 27 但如果你们不听我的话，不守安息日为圣日，仍在安息日运货物进耶路撒冷的城门，我必在各城门点起无法扑灭的大火，烧毁耶路撒冷的宫殿。’”

17 “Judah’s sin is engraved with an iron tool,(A)
inscribed with a flint point,
on the tablets of their hearts(B)
and on the horns(C) of their altars.
2 Even their children remember
their altars and Asherah poles[a](D)
beside the spreading trees
and on the high hills.(E)
3 My mountain in the land
and your[b] wealth and all your treasures
I will give away as plunder,(F)
together with your high places,(G)
because of sin throughout your country.(H)
4 Through your own fault you will lose
the inheritance(I) I gave you.
I will enslave you to your enemies(J)
in a land(K) you do not know,
for you have kindled my anger,
and it will burn(L) forever.”
5 This is what the Lord says:
“Cursed is the one who trusts in man,(M)
who draws strength from mere flesh
and whose heart turns away from the Lord.(N)
6 That person will be like a bush in the wastelands;
they will not see prosperity when it comes.
They will dwell in the parched places(O) of the desert,
in a salt(P) land where no one lives.
7 “But blessed(Q) is the one who trusts(R) in the Lord,
whose confidence is in him.
8 They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.(S)
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought(T)
and never fails to bear fruit.”(U)
9 The heart(V) is deceitful above all things
and beyond cure.
Who can understand it?
10 “I the Lord search the heart(W)
and examine the mind,(X)
to reward(Y) each person according to their conduct,
according to what their deeds deserve.”(Z)
11 Like a partridge that hatches eggs it did not lay
are those who gain riches by unjust means.
When their lives are half gone, their riches will desert them,
and in the end they will prove to be fools.(AA)
12 A glorious throne,(AB) exalted from the beginning,
is the place of our sanctuary.
13 Lord, you are the hope(AC) of Israel;
all who forsake(AD) you will be put to shame.
Those who turn away from you will be written in the dust(AE)
because they have forsaken the Lord,
the spring of living water.(AF)
14 Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed;(AG)
save(AH) me and I will be saved,
for you are the one I praise.(AI)
15 They keep saying to me,
“Where is the word of the Lord?
Let it now be fulfilled!”(AJ)
16 I have not run away from being your shepherd;
you know I have not desired the day of despair.
What passes my lips(AK) is open before you.
17 Do not be a terror(AL) to me;
you are my refuge(AM) in the day of disaster.(AN)
18 Let my persecutors be put to shame,
but keep me from shame;
let them be terrified,
but keep me from terror.
Bring on them the day of disaster;
destroy them with double destruction.(AO)
Keeping the Sabbath Day Holy
19 This is what the Lord said to me: “Go and stand at the Gate of the People,[c] through which the kings of Judah go in and out; stand also at all the other gates of Jerusalem.(AP) 20 Say to them, ‘Hear the word of the Lord, you kings of Judah and all people of Judah and everyone living in Jerusalem(AQ) who come through these gates.(AR) 21 This is what the Lord says: Be careful not to carry a load on the Sabbath(AS) day or bring it through the gates of Jerusalem. 22 Do not bring a load out of your houses or do any work on the Sabbath, but keep the Sabbath day holy, as I commanded your ancestors.(AT) 23 Yet they did not listen or pay attention;(AU) they were stiff-necked(AV) and would not listen or respond to discipline.(AW) 24 But if you are careful to obey me, declares the Lord, and bring no load through the gates of this city on the Sabbath, but keep the Sabbath day holy(AX) by not doing any work on it, 25 then kings who sit on David’s throne(AY) will come through the gates of this city with their officials. They and their officials will come riding in chariots and on horses, accompanied by the men of Judah and those living in Jerusalem, and this city will be inhabited forever.(AZ) 26 People will come from the towns of Judah and the villages around Jerusalem, from the territory of Benjamin and the western foothills, from the hill country and the Negev,(BA) bringing burnt offerings and sacrifices, grain offerings and incense, and bringing thank offerings to the house of the Lord. 27 But if you do not obey(BB) me to keep the Sabbath(BC) day holy by not carrying any load as you come through the gates of Jerusalem on the Sabbath day, then I will kindle an unquenchable fire(BD) in the gates of Jerusalem that will consume her fortresses.’”(BE)

19 This is what the Lord said to me: “Go and stand at the Gate of the People,[c] through which the kings of Judah go in and out; stand also at all the other gates of Jerusalem.(AP) 20 Say to them, ‘Hear the word of the Lord, you kings of Judah and all people of Judah and everyone living in Jerusalem(AQ) who come through these gates.(AR) 21 This is what the Lord says: Be careful not to carry a load on the Sabbath(AS) day or bring it through the gates of Jerusalem. 22 Do not bring a load out of your houses or do any work on the Sabbath, but keep the Sabbath day holy, as I commanded your ancestors.(AT) 23 Yet they did not listen or pay attention;(AU) they were stiff-necked(AV) and would not listen or respond to discipline.(AW) 24 But if you are careful to obey me, declares the Lord, and bring no load through the gates of this city on the Sabbath, but keep the Sabbath day holy(AX) by not doing any work on it, 25 then kings who sit on David’s throne(AY) will come through the gates of this city with their officials. They and their officials will come riding in chariots and on horses, accompanied by the men of Judah and those living in Jerusalem, and this city will be inhabited forever.(AZ) 26 People will come from the towns of Judah and the villages around Jerusalem, from the territory of Benjamin and the western foothills, from the hill country and the Negev,(BA) bringing burnt offerings and sacrifices, grain offerings and incense, and bringing thank offerings to the house of the Lord. 27 But if you do not obey(BB) me to keep the Sabbath(BC) day holy by not carrying any load as you come through the gates of Jerusalem on the Sabbath day, then I will kindle an unquenchable fire(BD) in the gates of Jerusalem that will consume her fortresses.’”(BE)
