12 그러므로 형제 여러분, 내가 하나님의 자비를 생각하며 권합니다. 여러 분의 몸을 하나님이 기뻐하시는 거룩한 산 제물로 드리십시오. 이것은 여러분이 드릴 [a]영적 예배입니다.
2 여러분은 이 세상을 본받지 말고 마음을 새롭게 하여 변화를 받으십시오. 그러면 하나님의 선하시고 기뻐하시고 완전하신 뜻이 무엇인지를 알게 될 것입니다.
3 내게 주신 하나님의 은혜로 내가 여러분 각 사람에게 권합니다. 여러분은 자기 자신에 대해서 마땅히 생각해야 할 그 이상의 생각을 하지 말고 하나님께서 여러분에게 나눠 주신 믿음의 분량에 따라 분수에 맞게 생각하십시오.
4 우리가 한 몸에 많은 지체를 가졌으나 이 지체들이 다 같은 기능을 가진 것은 아닙니다.
5 이와 같이 우리 많은 사람들이 그리스도 안에서 한 몸이 되어 서로서로 지체가 되었습니다.
6 그래서 우리에게 주신 은혜에 따라 우리가 받은 선물이 각각 다릅니다. 우리는 이것을 분수에 맞게 사용해야 합니다. 만일 그 선물이 [b]예언이라면 믿음의 정도에 맞게 하고
7 섬기는 일이면 봉사함으로, 교사는 잘 가르침으로 하십시오.
8 권면하는 사람은 격려의 말로, 남을 구제하는 사람은 후하게, 지도자는 열심으로, 자선을 베푸는 사람은 기쁨으로 하십시오.
9 사랑은 순수해야 합니다. 악을 미워하고 선을 행하십시오.
10 형제처럼 서로 따뜻이 사랑하고 존경하며
11 나태해지지 말고 열심히 주님을 섬기십시오.
12 희망 가운데서 기뻐하며 고난을 참고 항상 기도하십시오.
13 가난한 성도들을 돕고 손님 대접하는 일을 힘쓰십시오.
14 여러분을 핍박하는 사람들을 축복하고 저주하지 마십시오.
15 기뻐하는 사람들과 함께 기뻐하고 슬퍼하는 사람들과 함께 슬퍼하십시오.
16 서로 마음을 같이하며 교만한 마음을 품지 말고 낮고 천한 사람들의 벗이 되십시오. 스스로 잘난 체해서는 안 됩니다.
17 누구에게나 악을 악으로 갚지 말고 [c]언제나 선한 일을 하며
18 가능한 한 최선을 다해 모든 사람과 사이좋게 지내십시오.
19 사랑하는 여러분, 여러분이 직접 복수하지 말고 하나님께 맡기십시오. 성경에는 [d]“원수 갚는 것은 나의 일이다. 내가 갚아 주겠다” 라고 기록되어 있습니다.
20 또 [e]“네 원수가 굶주리거든 먹을 것을 주고 목말라하거든 마실 것을 주어라. 그러면 네 원수는 머리에 숯불을 놓은 것같이 부끄러워 견딜 수 없을 것이다” 라는 말씀도 있습니다.
21 그러므로 악에게 지지 말고 선으로 악을 이기십시오.

The sweet living, love, and works of the people who believe in Christ.
12 I beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercifulness of God, to make your bodies a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your reasonable serving of God. 2 Do not fashion yourselves to this world, but be changed in your nature by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is that good, that favourable, and perfect will of God.
3 For I say by the grace that is given to me, to everyone among you, that no one should think of himself more than it behoves him to think, but should soberly judge of himself, as God has given to each the measure of faith. 4 Just as we have many members in one body, and all members do not have the same service, 5 so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and everyone among us one another’s members. 6 Seeing that we have different gifts, according to the grace that is given to us, if one has the gift of prophecy, let him have it agreeing to the faith. 7 Let him who has an office attend to his duty. Let him who teaches take heed to his doctrine. 8 Let him who exhorts give heed to his exhortation. If anyone gives, let him do it with sincerity. Let him who governs do it with diligence. If anyone shows mercy, let him do it with cheerfulness.
9 Let love be without dissembling. Hate that which is evil, and cleave unto that which is good. 10 Be kind to one another, with brotherly love. Honour others before yourselves. 11 Let not the work that you have in hand be tedious to you. Be fervent in the Spirit. Apply yourselves to the time. 12 Rejoice in hope. Be patient in tribulation. Continue in prayer. 13 Give to meet the needs of the saints, and be ready to take people in.
14 Bless those who persecute you; bless, but curse not. 15 Be merry with those who are merry. Weep with those who weep. 16 Be of equal affection one towards another. Be not high-minded, but make yourselves equal to the lowly. Do not be wise in your own opinions. 17 Repay no one evil for evil. Provide beforehand for things that are honourable in the sight of all people. 18 If it is possible, as for your part, have peace with all people.
19 Dearly beloveds, do not avenge yourselves, but leave room for the wrath of God. For it is written: Vengeance is mine, and I will reward, says the Lord. 20 Therefore: If your enemy hungers, feed him, and if he thirsts, give him drink. For in so doing, you will heap coals of fire on his head. 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with goodness.

2 И недейте се съобразява с тоя век {Или: Свят.}, но преобразявайте се чрез обновяването на ума си, за да познаете от опит що е Божията воля, - това, което е добро, благоугодно Нему и съвършено.
3 Защото, чрез дадената ми благодат, казвам на всеки един измежду вас, който е по-виден да не мисли за себе си по-високо, отколкото трябва да мисли, но да разсъждава така, щото да мисли скромно, според делата на вярата, които Бог е на всекиго разпределил.
4 Защото, както имаме много части в едно тяло, а не всичките части имат същата служба,
5 така и ние мнозината сме едно тяло в Христа, а сме части, всеки <от нас>, един на друг.
6 И като имаме дарби, които се различават според дадената ни благодат, ако е пророчество, <нека пророкуваме> съразмерно с вярата;
7 ако ли служене, <нека прилежаваме в> служенето, ако някой поучава, <нека прилежава> в поучаването;

9 Любовта да бъде нелицемерна; отвращавайте се от злото, а прилепявайте се към доброто.
10 В братолюбието <си> обичайте се един друг, като сродници; изпреваряйте да си отдавате един на друг почит.
11 В усърдието <бивайте> нелениви, пламенни по дух, като служите на Господа.
12 Радвайте се в надеждата, в скръб <бивайте> твърди, в молитва постоянни.
13 Помагайте на светиите в нуждите им; предавайте се на гостолюбие.
14 Благославяйте ония, които ви гонят, благославяйте, и не кълнете.
15 Радвайте се с ония, които се радват; плачете с ония, които плачат.
16 Бъдете единомислени един към друг; не давайте ума си на високи неща, но предавайте се на скромни неща; не считайте себе си за мъдри.
17 Никому не връщайте зло за зло; промишлявайте за това, което е добро пред всичките човеци;
18 ако е възможно, доколкото зависи от вас, живейте в мир с всичките човеци.

A Living Sacrifice
12 Therefore, I urge you,(A) brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice,(B) holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform(C) to the pattern of this world,(D) but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.(E) Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is(F)—his good, pleasing(G) and perfect will.
Humble Service in the Body of Christ
3 For by the grace given me(H) I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. 4 For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function,(I) 5 so in Christ we, though many, form one body,(J) and each member belongs to all the others. 6 We have different gifts,(K) according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying,(L) then prophesy in accordance with your[a] faith;(M) 7 if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach;(N) 8 if it is to encourage, then give encouragement;(O) if it is giving, then give generously;(P) if it is to lead,[b] do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.
Love in Action
9 Love must be sincere.(Q) Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.(R) 10 Be devoted to one another in love.(S) Honor one another above yourselves.(T) 11 Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor,(U) serving the Lord. 12 Be joyful in hope,(V) patient in affliction,(W) faithful in prayer.(X) 13 Share with the Lord’s people who are in need.(Y) Practice hospitality.(Z)
14 Bless those who persecute you;(AA) bless and do not curse. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.(AB) 16 Live in harmony with one another.(AC) Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position.[c] Do not be conceited.(AD)
17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil.(AE) Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone.(AF) 18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.(AG) 19 Do not take revenge,(AH) my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,”[d](AI) says the Lord. 20 On the contrary:
“If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.
In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.”[e](AJ)
21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
