洁净圣殿
12 耶稣进了神的殿，赶出殿里一切做买卖的人，推倒兑换银钱之人的桌子和卖鸽子之人的凳子， 13 对他们说：“经上记着说：‘我的殿必称为祷告的殿’，你们倒使它成为贼窝了！” 14 在殿里有瞎子、瘸子到耶稣跟前，他就治好了他们。 15 祭司长和文士看见耶稣所行的奇事，又见小孩子在殿里喊着说“和散那归于大卫的子孙”，就甚恼怒， 16 对他说：“这些人所说的，你听见了吗？”耶稣说：“是的。经上说‘你从婴孩和吃奶的口中完全了赞美’的话，你们没有念过吗？” 17 于是离开他们，出城到伯大尼去，在那里住宿。
无花果树被咒诅
18 早晨回城的时候，他饿了。 19 看见路旁有一棵无花果树，就走到跟前，在树上找不着什么，不过有叶子，就对树说：“从今以后，你永不结果子！”那无花果树就立刻枯干了。 20 门徒看见了，便稀奇说：“无花果树怎么立刻枯干了呢？” 21 耶稣回答说：“我实在告诉你们：你们若有信心，不疑惑，不但能行无花果树上所行的事，就是对这座山说：‘你挪开此地，投在海里！’，也必成就。 22 你们祷告，无论求什么，只要信，就必得着。”
辩驳耶稣的权柄
23 耶稣进了殿，正教训人的时候，祭司长和民间的长老来，问他说：“你仗着什么权柄做这些事？给你这权柄的是谁呢？” 24 耶稣回答说：“我也要问你们一句话，你们若告诉我，我就告诉你们我仗着什么权柄做这些事。 25 约翰的洗礼是从哪里来的？是从天上来的，是从人间来的呢？”他们彼此商议说：“我们若说从天上来，他必对我们说：‘这样，你们为什么不信他呢？’ 26 若说从人间来，我们又怕百姓，因为他们都以约翰为先知。” 27 于是回答耶稣说：“我们不知道。”耶稣说：“我也不告诉你们我仗着什么权柄做这些事。”
两个儿子的比喻
28 又说：“一个人有两个儿子。他来对大儿子说：‘我儿，你今天到葡萄园里去做工。’ 29 他回答说‘我不去’，以后自己懊悔，就去了。 30 又来对小儿子也是这样说，他回答说‘父啊，我去’，他却不去。 31 你们想这两个儿子是哪一个遵行父命呢？”他们说：“大儿子。”耶稣说：“我实在告诉你们：税吏和娼妓倒比你们先进神的国。 32 因为约翰遵着义路到你们这里来，你们却不信他，税吏和娼妓倒信他。你们看见了，后来还是不懊悔去信他。
凶恶园户的比喻
33 “你们再听一个比喻：有个家主栽了一个葡萄园，周围圈上篱笆，里面挖了一个压酒池，盖了一座楼，租给园户，就往外国去了。 34 收果子的时候近了，就打发仆人到园户那里去收果子。 35 园户拿住仆人，打了一个，杀了一个，用石头打死一个。 36 主人又打发别的仆人去，比先前更多，园户还是照样待他们。 37 后来打发他的儿子到他们那里去，意思说：‘他们必尊敬我的儿子。’ 38 不料园户看见他儿子，就彼此说：‘这是承受产业的。来吧，我们杀他，占他的产业！’ 39 他们就拿住他，推出葡萄园外杀了。 40 园主来的时候，要怎样处治这些园户呢？” 41 他们说：“要下毒手除灭那些恶人，将葡萄园另租给那按着时候交果子的园户。” 42 耶稣说：“经上写着：‘匠人所弃的石头，已做了房角的头块石头。这是主所做的，在我们眼中看为稀奇。’这经你们没有念过吗？ 43 所以我告诉你们：神的国必从你们夺去，赐给那能结果子的百姓。 44 谁掉在这石头上，必要跌碎；这石头掉在谁的身上，就要把谁砸得稀烂。” 45 祭司长和法利赛人听见他的比喻，就看出他是指着他们说的。 46 他们想要捉拿他，只是怕众人，因为众人以他为先知。

Ang Madaogon nga Pagsulod ni Jesus sa Jerusalem

21 Sa dihang duol na sila si Jesus sa Jerusalem ug didto na sila sa baryo sa Betfage nga anaa sa Bukid sa mga Olibo, gipauna ni Jesus ang duha niya ka mga tinun-an. 2 Miingon siya kanila, “Pag-una kamo didto sa sunod nga baryo. Sa pagsulod ninyo, may makita kamo nga asno nga gihigot ug may kauban nga nati. Hubari ninyo kini ug dad-a dinhi kanako. 3 Kon may mangutana kaninyo, tubaga ninyo, ‘Kinahanglanon kini sa Ginoo,’ ug ipadala dayon niya kini kaninyo.”
4 Mahitabo kini aron matuman ang gisulti sa propeta:
5 “Sultihi ninyo ang mga taga-Zion nga ania na ang ilang hari.
Mapainubsanon siya, ug moabot na siya nga nagasakay sa nating asno!”[a]
6 Busa nanglakaw ang duha ka tinun-an ug gituman nila ang sugo ni Jesus. 7 Gidala nila ang asno uban sa nati didto kang Jesus. Gihapinan nila kini sa ilang mga kupo ug unya misakay si Jesus. 8 Didtoy daghang mga tawo nga nagbuklad sa ilang mga kupo sa dalan. Ang uban nagputol ug sanga sa mga kahoy ug gibutang kini sa dalan.[b] 9 Naninggit ang mga tawo nga nagauna ug ang nagsunod kaniya, “Dayegon ta ang kaliwat ni David![c] Gipanalanginan sa Ginoo ang iyang pinadala![d][e] Dayegon ta ang Dios!”
10 Sa pagsulod ni Jesus sa Jerusalem nagkaguliyang ang mga tawo didto. Miingon sila, “Kinsa ba kanang tawhana?” 11 Mitubag ang mga tawo nga kauban ni Jesus, “Mao kini ang propeta nga si Jesus nga taga-Nazaret, nga sakop sa Galilea.”
Ang Pag-abog ni Jesus sa mga Tawo Didto sa Templo
(Mar. 11:15-19; Luc. 19:45-48; Juan 2:13-22)
12 Misulod si Jesus sa templo ug giabog niya ang tanan nga namalit ug namaligya didto. Gipangtikwang niya ang mga lamisa sa mga nagapang-ilis ug kuwarta ug ang mga lingkoranan sa mga namaligya ug mga salampati nga ighahalad. 13 Miingon siya kanila, “Nagaingon ang Dios sa Kasulatan, ‘Ang akong balay tawgon nga balay nga alampoanan.’[f] Apan gihimo hinuon ninyo kini nga tagoanan sa mga tulisan![g]”
14 May mga buta ug mga bakol nga miduol kaniya didto sa templo ug giayo niya sila. 15 Nasuko ang kadagkoan sa mga pari ug ang mga magtutudlo sa Kasugoan sa dihang nakita nila ang kahibulongang mga butang nga iyang gibuhat, ug sa dihang nadunggan nila ang mga bata didto sa templo nga naninggit nga nagaingon, “Dayegon ta ang kaliwat ni David!” 16 Busa nangutana sila kang Jesus, “Nadunggan mo ba usab ang ilang gisulti?” Mitubag si Jesus, “Oo. Ngano, wala ba kamo makabasa sa gi-ingon sa Kasulatan nga bisan ang gagmayng mga bata gitudloan sa Dios nga modayeg kaniya?”[h] 17 Unya gibiyaan sila ni Jesus. Migawas siya sa siyudad sa Jerusalem ug miadto sa Betania ug didto siya natulog.
Gitunglo ni Jesus ang Kahoy nga Igos
(Mar. 11:12-14, 20-24)
18 Nianang pagkabuntag, sa pagbalik ni Jesus sa siyudad sa Jerusalem gigutom siya. 19 Unya, may nakita siyang kahoy nga igos sa daplin sa dalan. Busa giduolan niya kini, apan wala siyay nakita nga bunga kondili mga dahon lang. Unya, giingnan niya ang kahoy, “Sukad karon dili ka na gayod makapamunga!” Ug diha-diha nalaya ang kahoy. 20 Sa dihang nakita kini sa iyang mga tinun-an natingala kaayo sila. Miingon sila, “Nganong kalit nga nalaya ang kahoy nga igos?” 21 Mitubag si Jesus kanila, “Ang tinuod, kon may pagtuo kamo ug dili magduhaduha, mahimo usab ninyo ang gibuhat ko sa kahoy nga igos. Ug dili lang kana kondili makamando usab kamo bisan niining bukid, ‘Balhin ngadto sa dagat,’ ug mahitabo kana. 22 Ang bisan unsa nga inyong pangayoon pinaagi sa inyong pag-ampo madawat gayod ninyo, kon motuo kamo.”
Ang Pagpangutana sa Katungod ni Jesus
(Mar. 11:27-33; Luc. 20:1-8)
23 Misulod pag-usab si Jesus sa templo ug nagtudlo sa mga tawo. Didto may kadagkoan sa mga pari ug mga pangulo sa mga Judio nga miduol kaniya ug nangutana, “Unsa ba ang imong katungod sa pagbuhat niining mga butanga dinhi sa templo? Kinsa ba ang naghatag kanimo niini nga katungod?” 24 Mitubag si Jesus kanila, “Mangutana usab ako kaninyo. Ug kon matubag ninyo kini, tubagon ko usab kamo kon unsa ang akong katungod sa pagbuhat niining mga butanga. 25 Kang kinsa ba naggikan ang katungod ni Juan sa pagbautismo, sa Dios ba o sa tawo?” Naglalisay sila kon unsa ang ilang itubag. Miingon sila, “Kon moingon kita nga ‘Gikan sa Dios,’ moingon siya, ‘Nganong wala kamo motuo kang Juan?’ 26 Apan kon moingon kita nga ‘Gikan sa tawo,’ delikado kita sa mga tawo kay nagatuo sila nga si Juan propeta sa Dios.” 27 Busa mitubag sila kang Jesus, “Wala kami masayod.” Unya miingon si Jesus kanila, “Kon mao kana dili ko usab kamo sultihan kon diin gikan ang akong katungod sa pagbuhat niini.”
Ang Sambingay bahin sa Duha ka Managsoon nga Lalaki
28 Miingon usab si Jesus kanila, “Sa inyong hunahuna, unsa man ang buot ipasabot niini? Dunay usa ka tawo nga may duha ka anak nga lalaki. Giadtoan niya ang magulang ug giingnan, ‘Dong, adto karon sa atong ubasan ug pagtrabaho.’ 29 Mitubag siya, ‘Dili ko!’ Apan sa kaulahian nausab ang iyang hunahuna ug miadto siya sa ilang ubasan ug nagtrabaho. 30 Giadtoan usab sa amahan ang manghod ug giingnan usab sama sa iyang giingon sa magulang. Mitubag ang manghod, ‘Oo, tay,’ apan wala siya motuman. 31 Asa sa duha ang nagtuman sa sugo sa iyang amahan?” Mitubag sila, “Ang magulang.” Miingon si Jesus kanila, “Sa pagkatinuod, nauna pa kaninyo sa pagpasakop sa paghari sa Dios ang mga maniningil ug buhis ug ang mga babaye nga nagbaligya sa ilang dungog. 32 Kay si Juan nga tigbautismo mianhi dinhi ug nagtudlo kaninyo sa husto nga pamaagi aron mahimo kamong matarong atubangan sa Dios, apan wala kamo motuo kaniya. Ang mga maniningil ug buhis ug ang mga babaye nga nagbaligya sa ilang dungog mao hinuon ang mituo kaniya. Ug bisan nakita ninyo kini, wala gihapon kamo maghinulsol ug motuo kaniya.”

33 Miingon si Jesus kanila, “Pamatia ninyo ang usa pa ka sambingay. Dunay usa ka tawo nga may yuta nga gipatamnan niya ug ubas. Gipakoral niya kini, ug nagpahimo siyag bangag sa dakong bato aron himuong pug-anan sa ubas. Nagpatukod usab siya ug usa ka balay bantayanan. Pagkahuman gipasaopan niya ang iyang ubasan ug milakaw ngadto sa layong dapit. 34 Sa panahon na sa pagpamupo sa ubas, gisugo niya ang iyang mga sulugoon ngadto sa mga saop aron sa pagkuha sa iyang bahin sa abot. 35 Sa pag-abot sa mga sulugoon, gipangdakop sila sa mga saop. Gikulata nila ang usa, gibato ang usa, ug gipatay gayod nila ang usa. 36 Human niadto nagsugo pag-usab ang tag-iya ug mas daghan pa nga mga sulugoon kaysa nauna. Apan mao gihapon ang ilang gibuhat kanila. 37 Sa kaulahian gisugo sa tag-iya ang iyang anak. Naghunahuna siya nga tahoron nila ang iyang anak. 38 Apan sa pagkakita sa mga saop sa iyang anak, miingon sila, ‘Ania na ang manununod. Dali, patyon nato aron maato ang iyang mapanunod.’ 39 Busa gidakop nila siya ug gidala didto sa gawas sa ubasan ug gipatay.”
40 Unya nangutana si Jesus, “Kon mobalik ang tag-iya sa ubasan, unsa may iyang buhaton niadtong mga saop?” 41 Mitubag sila, “Pamatyon niya kadtong daotan nga mga saop ug dili gayod niya kaloy-an. Unya pasaopan niya ang iyang ubasan sa mga saop nga mohatag sa iyang bahin matag ani.” 42 Miingon usab si Jesus kanila, “Wala ba ninyo mabasa ang gi-ingon sa Kasulatan?
‘Ang bato nga gisalikway sa mga panday
mao gayod hinuon ang nahimong pundasyon.
Mao kini ang gibuhat sa Ginoo,
ug kahibulongan kini kanato!’ ”[i]
43 Mipadayon si Jesus sa pag-ingon kanila, “Mao kini ang hinungdan nga dili na maghari ang Dios kaninyo kondili ngadto na sa mga tawo nga nagatuman sa iyang mga gipabuhat. 44 [Si bisan kinsa nga mahulog niini nga bato mabali-balian, apan siya nga mahulogan sa maong bato madugmok gayod.]”
45 Pagka-dungog sa kadagkoan sa mga pari ug mga Pariseo sa mga sambingay ni Jesus, nasabtan nila nga sila ang iyang gitumong. 46 Busa buot na gayod nila nga dakpon si Jesus, apan nahadlok sila sa mga tawo tungod kay giila nila nga propeta si Jesus.

Jesus Comes to Jerusalem as King(A)(B)
21 As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage on the Mount of Olives,(C) Jesus sent two disciples, 2 saying to them, “Go to the village ahead of you, and at once you will find a donkey tied there, with her colt by her. Untie them and bring them to me. 3 If anyone says anything to you, say that the Lord needs them, and he will send them right away.”
4 This took place to fulfill(D) what was spoken through the prophet:
5 “Say to Daughter Zion,
‘See, your king comes to you,
gentle and riding on a donkey,
and on a colt, the foal of a donkey.’”[a](E)
6 The disciples went and did as Jesus had instructed them. 7 They brought the donkey and the colt and placed their cloaks on them for Jesus to sit on. 8 A very large crowd spread their cloaks(F) on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. 9 The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted,
10 When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, “Who is this?”
11 The crowds answered, “This is Jesus, the prophet(J) from Nazareth in Galilee.”
Jesus at the Temple(K)
12 Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying(L) and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers(M) and the benches of those selling doves.(N) 13 “It is written,” he said to them, “‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’[e](O) but you are making it ‘a den of robbers.’[f]”(P)
14 The blind and the lame came to him at the temple, and he healed them.(Q) 15 But when the chief priests and the teachers of the law saw the wonderful things he did and the children shouting in the temple courts, “Hosanna to the Son of David,”(R) they were indignant.(S)
16 “Do you hear what these children are saying?” they asked him.
“Yes,” replied Jesus, “have you never read,
17 And he left them and went out of the city to Bethany,(U) where he spent the night.
Jesus Curses a Fig Tree(V)
18 Early in the morning, as Jesus was on his way back to the city, he was hungry. 19 Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. Then he said to it, “May you never bear fruit again!” Immediately the tree withered.(W)
20 When the disciples saw this, they were amazed. “How did the fig tree wither so quickly?” they asked.
21 Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt,(X) not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done. 22 If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for(Y) in prayer.”
The Authority of Jesus Questioned(Z)
23 Jesus entered the temple courts, and, while he was teaching, the chief priests and the elders of the people came to him. “By what authority(AA) are you doing these things?” they asked. “And who gave you this authority?”
24 Jesus replied, “I will also ask you one question. If you answer me, I will tell you by what authority I am doing these things. 25 John’s baptism—where did it come from? Was it from heaven, or of human origin?”
They discussed it among themselves and said, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will ask, ‘Then why didn’t you believe him?’ 26 But if we say, ‘Of human origin’—we are afraid of the people, for they all hold that John was a prophet.”(AB)
27 So they answered Jesus, “We don’t know.”
Then he said, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I am doing these things.
The Parable of the Two Sons
28 “What do you think? There was a man who had two sons. He went to the first and said, ‘Son, go and work today in the vineyard.’(AC)
29 “‘I will not,’ he answered, but later he changed his mind and went.
30 “Then the father went to the other son and said the same thing. He answered, ‘I will, sir,’ but he did not go.
31 “Which of the two did what his father wanted?”
“The first,” they answered.
Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, the tax collectors(AD) and the prostitutes(AE) are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you. 32 For John came to you to show you the way of righteousness,(AF) and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors(AG) and the prostitutes(AH) did. And even after you saw this, you did not repent(AI) and believe him.
The Parable of the Tenants(AJ)
33 “Listen to another parable: There was a landowner who planted(AK) a vineyard. He put a wall around it, dug a winepress in it and built a watchtower.(AL) Then he rented the vineyard to some farmers and moved to another place.(AM) 34 When the harvest time approached, he sent his servants(AN) to the tenants to collect his fruit.
35 “The tenants seized his servants; they beat one, killed another, and stoned a third.(AO) 36 Then he sent other servants(AP) to them, more than the first time, and the tenants treated them the same way. 37 Last of all, he sent his son to them. ‘They will respect my son,’ he said.
38 “But when the tenants saw the son, they said to each other, ‘This is the heir.(AQ) Come, let’s kill him(AR) and take his inheritance.’(AS) 39 So they took him and threw him out of the vineyard and killed him.
40 “Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those tenants?”
41 “He will bring those wretches to a wretched end,”(AT) they replied, “and he will rent the vineyard to other tenants,(AU) who will give him his share of the crop at harvest time.”
42 Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures:
“‘The stone the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone;
the Lord has done this,
and it is marvelous in our eyes’[h]?(AV)
43 “Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you(AW) and given to a people who will produce its fruit. 44 Anyone who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; anyone on whom it falls will be crushed.”[i](AX)
45 When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard Jesus’ parables, they knew he was talking about them. 46 They looked for a way to arrest him, but they were afraid of the crowd because the people held that he was a prophet.(AY)
