17 過了六天，耶穌帶著彼得、雅各和雅各的弟弟約翰，領他們悄悄地上了高山。 2 耶穌在他們面前改變了形象，臉好像太陽一樣照耀，衣服潔白像光。 3 忽然，摩西和以利亞向他們顯現，跟耶穌談話。 4 彼得對耶穌說：“主啊，我們在這裡真好。如果你願意，我就在這裡搭三個帳棚，一個為你，一個為摩西，一個為以利亞。” 5 彼得還說話的時候，有一朵明亮的雲彩籠罩他們，雲中有聲音說：“這是我的愛子，我所喜悅的，你們要聽他。” 6 門徒聽見了，就俯伏在地上，非常害怕。 7 耶穌前來，摸著他們說：“起來，不用怕。” 8 他們抬起頭來，看見只有耶穌自己，沒有別的人。
9 他們下山的時候，耶穌吩咐他們：“人子從死人中復活以前，你們不要把所看見的異象告訴人。” 10 門徒就問他：“那麼經學家為甚麼說，以利亞必須先來呢？” 11 他回答：“以利亞當然要來，並且復興一切。 12 但我告訴你們，以利亞已經來了，可是人們卻不認識他，反而任意待他。照樣，人子也要這樣被他們苦待。” 13 這時門徒才領悟，耶穌是指著施洗的約翰說的。
治好癲癇病的小孩(B)
14 耶穌和門徒來到群眾那裡，有一個人前來，跪下對耶穌說： 15 “主啊，可憐我的兒子吧，他患了癲癇病，非常痛苦，好幾次掉進火裡和水中。 16 我帶他去見你的門徒，他們卻不能醫好他。” 17 耶穌說：“唉！這又不信又乖謬的世代啊！我要跟你們在一起到幾時呢？我要忍受你們到幾時呢？把孩子帶到我這裡來吧。” 18 耶穌斥責那鬼，鬼就從孩子身上出來；從那時起，孩子就好了。 19 門徒悄悄地前來問耶穌：“為甚麼我們不能把鬼趕出去呢？” 20 他說：“因為你們的信心太小了。我實在告訴你們，只要你們的信心像一粒芥菜種，就是對這山說：‘從這裡移到那裡’，它也必移開。沒有甚麼是你們不能作的。”（有些抄本有第21節：“這一類的鬼，如果不靠禱告和禁食，是趕不出來的。”）
第二次預言受難及復活(C)
22 他們聚集在加利利的時候，耶穌對門徒說：“人子將要被交在人的手裡， 23 他們要殺害他，第三天他要復活。”他們就很憂愁。
繳納殿稅
24 他們來到迦百農，收殿稅的人前來對彼得說：“你們的老師不納稅嗎？” 25 他說：“納。”他進到屋子裡，耶穌先問他：“西門，你認為怎樣？地上的君王向誰徵收關稅和丁稅？向自己的兒子還是外人呢？” 26 他回答：“外人。”耶穌對他說：“這樣，兒子就可以免稅了。 27 但為了避免觸犯他們，你要到海邊去釣魚；把第一條釣上來的魚拿起來，打開魚的嘴，你就會找到一個大銀幣。你可以拿去交給他們作你我的殿稅。”

17 (A)След шест дни Исус взе Петър, Яков и брат му Йоан и заведе само тях на една висока планина.
2 И се преобрази пред тях; лицето Му светна като слънцето, а дрехите Му станаха бели като светлината.
3 И, ето, явиха им се Моисей и Илия, които разговаряха с Него.
4 А Петър проговори, като каза на Исус: Господи, добре е да сме тук; ако искаш, аз ще направя тук три шатри – за Теб една, за Моисей една и една за Илия.
5 (B)А когато той още говореше, ето, светъл облак ги засени; и, ето, от облака се чу глас, който каза: Този е Моят възлюбен Син, в Когото е Моето благоволение, Него слушайте.
6 (C)И учениците, като чуха това, паднаха на лицата си и много се уплашиха.
7 (D)А Исус се приближи при тях, допря се до тях и каза: Станете, не бойте се!
8 И те, като повдигнаха очи, не видяха никого освен Исус сам.
9 (E)И като слизаха от планината, Исус им заръча: На никого не казвайте за това видение, докато Човешкият Син не възкръсне от мъртвите.
10 (F)Учениците Му го попитаха: Защо тогава книжниците казват, че първо Илия трябва да дойде?
11 (G)А Той отговори: Наистина Илия иде и ще възстанови всичко.

14 (J)И когато дойдоха при народа, до Него се приближи един човек, коленичи пред Него и каза:
15 Господи, смили се над сина ми, защото е епилептик и страда зле; понеже пада в огъня и често във водата.
16 И го доведох при Твоите ученици, но те не можаха да го изцелят.
17 Исус отговори: О, роде невярващ и извратен, докога ще бъда с вас, докога ще ви търпя? Доведете го тук при Мен.
18 И Исус смъмра злия дух и той излезе от него; и момчето оздравя в същия час.
19 Тогава учениците дойдоха при Исус насаме и казаха: Защо ние не можахме да го изгоним?
20 (K)Той им каза: Поради вашето маловерие. Защото, истина ви казвам: Ако имате вяра колкото синапово зърно, ще кажете на тази планина: Премести се оттук там и тя ще се премести; и нищо няма да е невъзможно за вас.
21 А този род не излиза освен с молитва и пост.
22 (L)И когато седяха в Галилея, Исус им каза: Човешкият Син ще бъде предаден в ръцете на човеците
23 и ще Го убият; и на третия ден ще бъде възкресен. И те дълбоко се наскърбиха.

24 А когато дойдоха в Капернаум, събирачите на двете драхми за храма се приближиха към Петър и казаха: Вашият Учител не плаща ли двете драхми?
25 Той отвърна: Плаща. И когато влезе в къщи, Исус го изпревари и му каза: Какво мислиш, Симоне, земните царе от кои събират данък или налог – от синовете си или от чужденците?
26 А когато Петър каза: От чужденците, Исус му отговори: Щом е така, синовете им[a] са свободни.
27 Но за да не ги съблазним, иди на езерото, хвърли въдица и измъкни рибата, която първа се закачи, и като разтвориш устата, ще намериш един статир; вземи го и им го дай за Мен и за тебе.

17 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,
2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.
3 And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.
4 Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.
5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
6 And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.
7 And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid.
8 And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.
9 And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.
10 And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come?
11 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.
12 But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.
13 Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.
14 And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying,
15 Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water.
16 And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him.
17 Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me.
18 And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour.
19 Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?
20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.
22 And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them, The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men:
23 And they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised again. And they were exceeding sorry.
24 And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute?
25 He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers?
26 Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free.
27 Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.
