耶稣在彼拉多面前受审
15 清早，祭司长、长老、律法教师和全公会的人商定后，便把耶稣绑起来押送到彼拉多那里。
2 彼拉多问耶稣：“你是犹太人的王吗？”
耶稣回答说：“如你所言。”
3 祭司长控告耶稣许多罪。
4 彼拉多又问道：“你看，他们控告你这么多，你都不回答吗？”
5 耶稣仍旧一言不发，彼拉多感到惊奇。
6 每年逾越节的时候，彼拉多都会照惯例按犹太人的要求释放一个囚犯。 7 那时，有一个囚犯名叫巴拉巴，与其他作乱时杀过人的囚犯关在一起。 8 百姓聚来，要求彼拉多照惯例释放囚犯。
9 彼拉多问：“你们要我为你们释放犹太人的王吗？” 10 因为他知道祭司长把耶稣押来是出于妒忌。 11 但祭司长却煽动百姓，叫他们要求彼拉多释放巴拉巴。
12 彼拉多只好问：“那么，这位你们称之为犹太人之王的，我如何处置呢？”
13 他们喊着说：“把祂钉在十字架上！”
14 彼拉多问：“为什么？祂犯了什么罪？”
他们却更大声地喊：“把祂钉在十字架上！”
15 为了取悦众人，彼拉多释放了巴拉巴，命人将耶稣鞭打后带出去钉十字架。
耶稣受辱
16 于是，卫兵把耶稣带进总督府的院子，集合了全营的兵。 17 他们给祂穿上紫袍，用荆棘编成王冠戴在祂头上， 18 向祂行礼，并喊着说：“犹太人的王万岁！” 19 他们用苇秆打祂的头，向祂吐唾沫，跪拜祂。 20 戏弄完了，就脱去祂的紫袍，给祂穿上原来的衣服，押祂出去钉十字架。
钉十字架
21 亚历山大和鲁孚的父亲古利奈人西门从乡下来，途经那地方，卫兵就强迫他背耶稣的十字架。 22 他们把耶稣带到各各他——意思是“髑髅地”， 23 拿没药调和的酒给祂喝，但祂不肯喝。 24 他们把耶稣钉在十字架上，还抽签分祂的衣服。 25 他们钉祂十字架的时间是在上午九点钟。 26 祂的罪状牌上写着“犹太人的王”。
27 他们还把两个强盗钉在十字架上，一个在祂右边，一个在祂左边， 28 这应验了圣经的话：“祂被列在罪犯中。” 29 过路的人都嘲笑祂，摇着头说：“哈，你这要把圣殿拆毁又在三天内重建的人啊， 30 救救你自己，从十字架上下来吧！”
31 祭司长和律法教师也嘲讽说：“祂救了别人，却救不了自己！ 32 以色列的王基督，现在从十字架上下来吧！让我们看看，我们就信了！”与祂同钉十字架的强盗也对祂出言不逊。
耶稣之死
33 正午时分，黑暗笼罩着整个大地，一直到下午三点。 34 大约在三点，耶稣大声呼喊：“以罗伊，以罗伊，拉马撒巴各大尼？”意思是：“我的上帝，我的上帝，你为什么离弃我？”
35 有些站在旁边的人听见了，就说：“听，祂在呼叫以利亚。”
36 有人跑去把一块海绵蘸满酸酒，绑在苇秆上送给祂喝，说：“等等，让我们看看以利亚会不会救祂下来。”
37 耶稣大叫一声，就断了气。 38 圣殿的幔子从上到下裂成两半。 39 站在对面的百夫长看见耶稣喊叫[a]断气的情形，便说：“这人真是上帝的儿子！”
40 有些妇女在远处观看，其中有抹大拉的玛丽亚、小雅各和约西的母亲玛丽亚并撒罗米。 41 耶稣在加利利时，她们已经跟随祂、服侍祂了。此外还有好些跟着祂上耶路撒冷的妇女。
安葬耶稣
42 那天是犹太人的预备日，也就是安息日的前一天。傍晚， 43 亚利马太人约瑟鼓起勇气去见彼拉多，要求领取耶稣的遗体。他是一位德高望重的公会议员，一位等候上帝国降临的人。 44 彼拉多听见耶稣已经死了，十分惊讶，便把百夫长召来问个明白， 45 得知耶稣确实已死，便将耶稣的遗体交给约瑟。
46 约瑟把耶稣的遗体取下来，用买来的细麻布裹好，安放在一个在岩壁上凿出的墓穴里，又滚来一块大石头堵住洞口。 47 抹大拉的玛丽亚和约西的母亲玛丽亚都亲眼看到了安葬耶稣的地方。

Jesus Delivered to Pilate
15 (A)And as soon as it was morning, the chief priests (B)held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council. And (C)they bound Jesus and (D)led him away and (E)delivered him over to (F)Pilate. 2 (G)And Pilate asked him, (H)“Are you the King of the Jews?” And he answered him, (I)“You have said so.” 3 And the chief priests accused him of many things. 4 And Pilate again asked him, (J)“Have you no answer to make? See how many charges they bring against you.” 5 But Jesus (K)made no further answer, so that Pilate was amazed.
Pilate Delivers Jesus to Be Crucified
6 (L)Now at the feast he used to release for them one prisoner for whom they asked. 7 And among the rebels in prison, who had (M)committed murder (N)in the insurrection, there was a man called Barabbas. 8 And the crowd came up and began to ask Pilate to do as he usually did for them. 9 And he answered them, saying, “Do you want me to release for you the King of the Jews?” 10 For he perceived that (O)it was out of envy that the chief priests had delivered him up. 11 But the chief priests stirred up the crowd to have him release for them Barabbas instead. 12 And Pilate again said to them, “Then what shall I do with (P)the man you call the King of the Jews?” 13 And they cried out again, “Crucify him.” 14 And Pilate said to them, “Why? (Q)What evil has he done?” But they shouted all the more, “Crucify him.” 15 So Pilate, wishing to satisfy the crowd, released for them Barabbas, and having (R)scourged[a] Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified.
Jesus Is Mocked
16 (S)And the soldiers led him away inside (T)the palace (that is, (U)the governor's headquarters),[b] and they called together the whole (V)battalion.[c] 17 And they clothed him in (W)a purple cloak, and twisting together a crown of thorns, they put it on him. 18 And they began to salute him, (X)“Hail, King of the Jews!” 19 And they were striking his head with a reed and (Y)spitting on him and (Z)kneeling down in homage to him. 20 And when they had (AA)mocked him, they stripped him of (AB)the purple cloak and put his own clothes on him. And they (AC)led him out to crucify him.
The Crucifixion
21 (AD)And they compelled a passerby, Simon of Cyrene, who was coming in from the country, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to carry his cross. 22 (AE)And they brought him to the place called Golgotha (which means Place of a Skull). 23 And they offered him wine mixed with (AF)myrrh, but he did not take it. 24 And they crucified him and (AG)divided his garments among them, casting lots for them, to decide what each should take. 25 And (AH)it was the third hour[d] when they crucified him. 26 And the inscription of the charge against him read, (AI)“The King of the Jews.” 27 And with him they crucified two (AJ)robbers, (AK)one on his right and one on his left.[e] 29 And (AL)those who passed by derided him, (AM)wagging their heads and saying, (AN)“Aha! (AO)You who would destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days, 30 save yourself, and come down from the cross!” 31 So also the chief priests with the scribes mocked him to one another, saying, (AP)“He saved others; (AQ)he cannot save himself. 32 Let (AR)the Christ, (AS)the King of Israel, come down now from the cross that we may (AT)see and believe.” (AU)Those who were crucified with him also reviled him.
The Death of Jesus
33 And when the sixth hour[f] had come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour.[g] 34 And at the ninth hour Jesus (AV)cried with a loud voice, (AW)“Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?” which means, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” 35 And some of the bystanders hearing it said, “Behold, he is calling Elijah.” 36 And someone ran and filled a sponge with (AX)sour wine, put it on a reed (AY)and gave it to him to drink, saying, “Wait, let us see whether Elijah will come to take him down.” 37 And Jesus (AZ)uttered a loud cry and (BA)breathed his last. 38 And (BB)the curtain of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. 39 (BC)And when the centurion, who stood facing him, saw that in this way he[h] breathed his last, he said, (BD)“Truly this man was the Son[i] of God!”
40 There were also (BE)women looking on (BF)from a distance, among whom were (BG)Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the younger and of Joses, and (BH)Salome. 41 When he was in Galilee, they followed him and (BI)ministered to him, and there were also many other women who (BJ)came up with him to Jerusalem.
Jesus Is Buried
42 (BK)And when evening had come, since it was (BL)the day of Preparation, that is, the day before the Sabbath, 43 Joseph of Arimathea, (BM)a respected member of the council, who (BN)was also himself looking for the kingdom of God, took courage and went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. 44 Pilate was surprised to hear that he should have already died.[j] And summoning (BO)the centurion, he asked him whether he was already dead. 45 And when he learned from (BP)the centurion that he was dead, he granted the corpse to Joseph. 46 And Joseph[k] bought (BQ)a linen shroud, and taking him down, wrapped him in the linen shroud and (BR)laid him in a tomb (BS)that had been cut out of the rock. And he rolled (BT)a stone against the entrance of the tomb. 47 (BU)Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses saw where he was laid.

Jesús ante Pilato
15 Muy de mañana, los principales sacerdotes prepararon enseguida una reunión(A) con los ancianos, los escribas y todo el Concilio[a](B); y atando a Jesús, lo llevaron y lo entregaron a Pilato. 2 «(C)¿Eres Tú el Rey de los judíos?», le preguntó Pilato. «Tú lo dices», respondió* Jesús.
3 Y los principales sacerdotes lo acusaban de muchas cosas[b]. 4 De nuevo Pilato le preguntó: «¿No respondes nada? Mira de cuántas cosas te acusan». 5 Pero Jesús no respondió nada más(D); de modo que Pilato estaba asombrado.
Jesús o Barrabás
6 (E)Ahora bien, en cada fiesta Pilato acostumbraba soltarles un preso, el que ellos pidieran. 7 Y uno llamado Barrabás había sido encarcelado con los rebeldes que habían cometido homicidio en la insurrección. 8 Cuando la multitud subió, comenzó a pedirle a Pilato que hiciera como siempre les había hecho. 9 Entonces Pilato les preguntó: «¿Quieren que les suelte al Rey de los judíos?». 10 Porque sabía que los principales sacerdotes lo habían entregado por envidia.
11 Pero los principales sacerdotes provocaron a la multitud para que le pidiera que en vez de Jesús les soltara a Barrabás(F). 12 Pilato les preguntó: «¿Qué haré, entonces, con el que ustedes llaman el Rey de los judíos?». 13 Ellos le respondieron a gritos[c]: «¡Crucifícalo!». 14 Y Pilato les decía: «¿Por qué? ¿Qué mal ha hecho?». Y ellos gritaban aún más: «¡Crucifícalo!». 15 Pilato, queriendo complacer a la multitud, les soltó a Barrabás; y después de hacer azotar a Jesús, lo entregó para que fuera crucificado(G).
Los soldados se burlan de Jesús
16 (H)Entonces los soldados llevaron a Jesús dentro del palacio[d](I), es decir, al Pretorio, y convocaron* a toda la tropa[e] romana(J). 17 Lo vistieron* de púrpura, y después de tejer una corona de espinas, se la pusieron; 18 y comenzaron a gritar: «¡Salve, Rey de los judíos!». 19 Le golpeaban la cabeza con una caña[f] y le escupían, y poniéndose de rodillas, le hacían reverencias. 20 Después de haberse burlado de Jesús, le quitaron el manto de púrpura, le pusieron Sus ropas y lo sacaron* para que fuera crucificado.
21 (K)Y obligaron* a uno que pasaba y que venía del campo, Simón de Cirene, padre de Alejandro y Rufo, a que llevara la cruz de Jesús.
La crucifixión
22 (L)Lo llevaron* al lugar llamado Gólgota, que traducido significa Lugar de la Calavera(M). 23 Trataron de dar a Jesús vino mezclado con mirra, pero Él no lo tomó(N). 24 Cuando lo crucificaron*, se repartieron* Sus vestidos, echando suertes[g] sobre ellos para decidir lo que cada uno tomaría(O). 25 Era la hora tercera[h](P) cuando[i] lo crucificaron. 26 La inscripción de la acusación contra Él decía[j]: «EL REY DE LOS JUDÍOS(Q)». 27 Crucificaron* con Él a dos ladrones; uno a Su derecha y otro a Su izquierda. 28 [k]Y se cumplió la Escritura que dice: «Y con los transgresores fue contado».
29 Los que pasaban lo injuriaban, meneando la cabeza(R) y diciendo: «¡Bah! Tú que destruyes el templo y en tres días lo reedificas(S), 30 ¡sálvate a Ti mismo descendiendo de la cruz!». 31 De igual manera, también los principales sacerdotes junto con los escribas, burlándose de Él entre ellos, decían: «A otros salvó, Él mismo no se puede salvar[l](T). 32 Que este[m] Cristo, el Rey de Israel(U), descienda ahora de la cruz, para que veamos y creamos». Y los que estaban crucificados con Él también lo insultaban(V).
Muerte de Jesús
33 (W)Cuando llegó la hora sexta[n], hubo oscuridad sobre toda la tierra hasta la hora novena[o](X). 34 Y a la hora novena[p](Y) Jesús exclamó con fuerte voz: «Eloi, Eloi, ¿lema sabactani?», que traducido significa, «Dios Mío, Dios Mío, ¿por qué me has abandonado(Z)?». 35 Algunos de los que estaban allí, al oírlo, decían: «Miren, está llamando a Elías». 36 Entonces uno corrió y empapó una esponja en vinagre, y poniéndola en una caña[q], dio a Jesús a beber, diciendo: «Dejen, veamos si Elías lo viene a bajar». 37 Pero Jesús, dando un fuerte grito, expiró(AA). 38 Y el velo del templo se rasgó en dos, de arriba abajo(AB).
39 Viendo el centurión que estaba frente a Él, la manera en que[r] expiró, dijo: «En verdad este hombre era Hijo de Dios[s](AC)». 40 (AD)Había también unas mujeres mirando de lejos, entre las que estaban María Magdalena, María, la madre de Jacobo[t] el menor[u](AE) y de José, y Salomé(AF), 41 las cuales cuando Jesús estaba en Galilea, lo seguían y le servían(AG); y había muchas otras que habían subido con Él a Jerusalén.
Sepultura de Jesús
42 (AH)Ya al atardecer, como era el día de la preparación(AI), es decir, la víspera del día de reposo, 43 vino José de Arimatea, miembro prominente del Concilio[v](AJ), que también esperaba el reino de Dios(AK); y llenándose de valor, entró adonde estaba Pilato y le pidió el cuerpo de Jesús(AL). 44 Pilato se sorprendió de que ya hubiera muerto, y llamando al centurión, le preguntó si ya estaba muerto.
45 Y al comprobar esto por medio del centurión(AM), le concedió el cuerpo a José, 46 quien compró un lienzo de lino, y bajando el cuerpo de la cruz, lo envolvió en el lienzo de lino y lo puso en un sepulcro que había sido excavado en la roca; e hizo rodar una piedra a la entrada del sepulcro. 47 Y María Magdalena y María, la madre de José(AN), miraban para saber dónde lo ponían.
