²⁰那領了五千兩銀子的，帶著另外的五千兩上前來，說：『主啊，你交託給我五千兩銀子，請看，我另外賺了五千兩。』

²¹「主人對他說：『做得好，忠心的好奴僕！你在少許的事上忠心，我要委任你統管很多的事。進來分享你主人的快樂吧！』

²²「那領了兩千兩銀子的也上前來，說：『主啊，你交託給我兩千兩銀子，請看，我另外賺了兩千兩。』

²⁰And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.

²¹His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

²²He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.

²⁰The man who had received five bags of gold brought the other five. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with five bags of gold. See, I have gained five more.’

²¹“His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things.^(A) Come and share your master’s happiness!’

²²“The man with two bags of gold also came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with two bags of gold; see, I have gained two more.’
