耶穌在彼拉多面前受審
15 清早，祭司長、長老、律法教師和全公會的人商定後，便把耶穌綁起來押送到彼拉多那裡。
2 彼拉多問耶穌：「你是猶太人的王嗎？」
耶穌回答說：「如你所言。」
3 祭司長控告耶穌許多罪。
4 彼拉多又問道：「你看，他們控告你這麼多，你都不回答嗎？」
5 耶穌仍舊一言不發，彼拉多感到驚奇。
6 每年逾越節的時候，彼拉多都會照慣例按猶太人的要求釋放一個囚犯。 7 那時，有一個囚犯名叫巴拉巴，與其他作亂時殺過人的囚犯關在一起。 8 百姓聚來，要求彼拉多照慣例釋放囚犯。
9 彼拉多問：「你們要我為你們釋放猶太人的王嗎？」 10 因為他知道祭司長把耶穌押來是出於妒忌。 11 但祭司長卻煽動百姓，叫他們要求彼拉多釋放巴拉巴。
12 彼拉多只好問：「那麼，這位你們稱之為猶太人之王的，我如何處置呢？」
13 他們喊著說：「把祂釘在十字架上！」
14 彼拉多問：「為什麼？祂犯了什麼罪？」
他們卻更大聲地喊：「把祂釘在十字架上！」
15 為了取悅眾人，彼拉多釋放了巴拉巴，命人將耶穌鞭打後帶出去釘十字架。
耶穌受辱
16 於是，衛兵把耶穌帶進總督府的院子，集合了全營的兵。 17 他們給祂穿上紫袍，用荊棘編成王冠戴在祂頭上， 18 向祂行禮，並喊著說：「猶太人的王萬歲！」 19 他們用葦稈打祂的頭，向祂吐唾沫，跪拜祂。 20 戲弄完了，就脫去祂的紫袍，給祂穿上原來的衣服，押祂出去釘十字架。
釘十字架
21 亞歷山大和魯孚的父親古利奈人西門從鄉下來，途經那地方，衛兵就強迫他背耶穌的十字架。 22 他們把耶穌帶到各各他——意思是「髑髏地」， 23 拿沒藥調和的酒給祂喝，但祂不肯喝。 24 他們把耶穌釘在十字架上，還抽籤分祂的衣服。 25 他們釘祂十字架的時間是在上午九點鐘。 26 祂的罪狀牌上寫著「猶太人的王」。
27 他們還把兩個強盜釘在十字架上，一個在祂右邊，一個在祂左邊， 28 這應驗了聖經的話：「祂被列在罪犯中。」 29 過路的人都嘲笑祂，搖著頭說：「哈，你這要把聖殿拆毀又在三天內重建的人啊， 30 救救你自己，從十字架上下來吧！」

耶穌之死
33 正午時分，黑暗籠罩著整個大地，一直到下午三點。 34 大約在三點，耶穌大聲呼喊：「以羅伊，以羅伊，拉馬撒巴各大尼？」意思是：「我的上帝，我的上帝，你為什麼離棄我？」
35 有些站在旁邊的人聽見了，就說：「聽，祂在呼叫以利亞。」
36 有人跑去把一塊海綿蘸滿酸酒，綁在葦稈上送給祂喝，說：「等等，讓我們看看以利亞會不會救祂下來。」
37 耶穌大叫一聲，就斷了氣。 38 聖殿的幔子從上到下裂成兩半。 39 站在對面的百夫長看見耶穌喊叫[a]斷氣的情形，便說：「這人真是上帝的兒子！」
40 有些婦女在遠處觀看，其中有抹大拉的瑪麗亞、小雅各和約西的母親瑪麗亞並撒羅米。 41 耶穌在加利利時，她們已經跟隨祂、服侍祂了。此外還有好些跟著祂上耶路撒冷的婦女。
安葬耶穌
42 那天是猶太人的預備日，也就是安息日的前一天。傍晚， 43 亞利馬太人約瑟鼓起勇氣去見彼拉多，要求領取耶穌的遺體。他是一位德高望重的公會議員，一位等候上帝國降臨的人。 44 彼拉多聽見耶穌已經死了，十分驚訝，便把百夫長召來問個明白， 45 得知耶穌確實已死，便將耶穌的遺體交給約瑟。

Jesus Faces Pilate(A)
15 Immediately, (B)in the morning, the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council; and they bound Jesus, led Him away, and (C)delivered Him to Pilate. 2 (D)Then Pilate asked Him, “Are You the King of the Jews?”
He answered and said to him, “It is as you say.”
3 And the chief priests accused Him of many things, but He (E)answered nothing. 4 (F)Then Pilate asked Him again, saying, “Do You answer nothing? See how many things [a]they testify against You!” 5 (G)But Jesus still answered nothing, so that Pilate marveled.
Taking the Place of Barabbas(H)
6 Now (I)at the feast he was accustomed to releasing one prisoner to them, whomever they requested. 7 And there was one named Barabbas, who was chained with his fellow rebels; they had committed murder in the rebellion. 8 Then the multitude, [b]crying aloud, began to ask him to do just as he had always done for them. 9 But Pilate answered them, saying, “Do you want me to release to you the King of the Jews?” 10 For he knew that the chief priests had handed Him over because of envy.
11 But (J)the chief priests stirred up the crowd, so that he should rather release Barabbas to them. 12 Pilate answered and said to them again, “What then do you want me to do with Him whom you call the (K)King of the Jews?”
13 So they cried out again, “Crucify Him!”
14 Then Pilate said to them, “Why, (L)what evil has He done?”
But they cried out all the more, “Crucify Him!”
15 (M)So Pilate, wanting to gratify the crowd, released Barabbas to them; and he delivered Jesus, after he had scourged Him, to be (N)crucified.
The Soldiers Mock Jesus(O)
16 (P)Then the soldiers led Him away into the hall called [c]Praetorium, and they called together the whole garrison. 17 And they clothed Him with purple; and they twisted a crown of thorns, put it on His head, 18 and began to salute Him, “Hail, King of the Jews!” 19 Then they (Q)struck Him on the head with a reed and spat on Him; and bowing the knee, they worshiped Him. 20 And when they had (R)mocked Him, they took the purple off Him, put His own clothes on Him, and led Him out to crucify Him.
The King on a Cross(S)
21 (T)Then they compelled a certain man, Simon a Cyrenian, the father of Alexander and Rufus, as he was coming out of the country and passing by, to bear His cross. 22 (U)And they brought Him to the place Golgotha, which is translated, Place of a Skull. 23 (V)Then they gave Him wine mingled with myrrh to drink, but He did not take it. 24 And when they crucified Him, (W)they divided His garments, casting lots for them to determine what every man should take.
25 Now (X)it was the third hour, and they crucified Him. 26 And (Y)the inscription of His [d]accusation was written above:
THE KING OF THE JEWS.
27 (Z)With Him they also crucified two robbers, one on His right and the other on His left. 28 [e]So the Scripture was fulfilled which says, (AA)“And He was numbered with the transgressors.”
29 And (AB)those who passed by blasphemed Him, (AC)wagging their heads and saying, “Aha! (AD)You who destroy the temple and build it in three days, 30 save Yourself, and come down from the cross!”
31 Likewise the chief priests also, (AE)mocking among themselves with the scribes, said, “He saved (AF)others; Himself He cannot save. 32 Let the Christ, the King of Israel, descend now from the cross, that we may see and [f]believe.”
Even (AG)those who were crucified with Him reviled Him.
Jesus Dies on the Cross(AH)
33 Now (AI)when the sixth hour had come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour. 34 And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?” which is translated, (AJ)“My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”
35 Some of those who stood by, when they heard that, said, “Look, He is calling for Elijah!” 36 Then (AK)someone ran and filled a sponge full of sour wine, put it on a reed, and (AL)offered it to Him to drink, saying, “Let Him alone; let us see if Elijah will come to take Him down.”
37 (AM)And Jesus cried out with a loud voice, and breathed His last.
38 Then (AN)the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. 39 So (AO)when the centurion, who stood opposite Him, saw that [g]He cried out like this and breathed His last, he said, “Truly this Man was the Son of God!”
40 (AP)There were also women looking on (AQ)from afar, among whom were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James the Less and of Joses, and Salome, 41 who also (AR)followed Him and ministered to Him when He was in Galilee, and many other women who came up with Him to Jerusalem.
Jesus Buried in Joseph’s Tomb(AS)
42 (AT)Now when evening had come, because it was the Preparation Day, that is, the day before the Sabbath, 43 Joseph of Arimathea, a prominent council member, who (AU)was himself waiting for the kingdom of God, coming and taking courage, went in to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. 44 Pilate marveled that He was already dead; and summoning the centurion, he asked him if He had been dead for some time. 45 So when he found out from the centurion, he granted the body to Joseph. 46 (AV)Then he bought fine linen, took Him down, and wrapped Him in the linen. And he laid Him in a tomb which had been hewn out of the rock, and rolled a stone against the door of the tomb. 47 And Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses observed where He was laid.

Jézus Pilátus előtt(A)
15 Korán reggel haladéktalanul határozatot hoztak a főpapok a vénekkel, az írástudókkal és az egész nagytanáccsal együtt. Azután Jézust megkötözve elvitték, és átadták Pilátusnak.
2 Pilátus pedig megkérdezte tőle: "Te vagy a zsidók királya?" Ő így válaszolt neki: "Te mondod."
3 A főpapok hevesen vádolták őt.
4 Pilátus ismét megkérdezte tőle: "Nem felelsz semmit? Nézd, mennyire vádolnak!"
5 Jézus pedig többé semmit sem válaszolt, úgyhogy Pilátus nagyon elcsodálkozott.
Jézus és Barabbás(B)
6 Ünnepenként el szokott bocsátani nekik egy foglyot, akit ők kívántak.
7 Barabbás is fogságban volt azokkal a lázadókkal együtt, akik a lázadás idején gyilkosságot követtek el.
8 A sokaság tehát felmenve Pilátus elé, kérte tőle azt, amit mindig megtett nekik.
9 Ő pedig megkérdezte tőlük: "Akarjátok, hogy elbocsássam nektek a zsidók királyát?" -
10 mert tudta, hogy irigységből szolgáltatták ki Jézust a főpapok.
11 A főpapok azonban felbujtották a sokaságot, hogy inkább Barabbás elbocsátását követeljék.
12 Pilátus ismét megszólalt, és ezt mondta nekik: "Mit tegyek akkor azzal, akit a zsidók királyának mondotok?"
13 Azok ismét felkiáltottak: "Feszítsd meg!"
14 Pilátus megkérdezte tőlük: "De mi rosszat tett?" Azok pedig még hangosabban kiáltották: "Feszítsd meg!"
15 Pilátus eleget akart tenni a sokaság kívánságának, és szabadon bocsátotta nekik Barabbást; Jézust pedig miután megostoroztatta, kiszolgáltatta, hogy megfeszítsék.
Jézus megcsúfolása(C)
16 A katonák elvitték őt a palota belsejébe, a helytartóságra, és összehívták az egész csapatot.
17 Felöltöztették bíborba, tövisből font koronát tettek a fejére,
18 és elkezdték köszönteni: "Üdvözlégy, zsidók királya!"
19 Nádszállal verték a fejét, leköpdösték, és térdhajtással hódoltak előtte.
Jézus megfeszítése(D)
20 Miután kigúnyolták, levették róla a bíborruhát, felöltöztették saját ruhájába, és kivitték, hogy megfeszítsék őt.
21 Kényszerítettek egy arra menő embert, cirénei Simont, Alexander és Rufusz apját, aki a mezőről jött, hogy vigye a keresztet.

Jézus halála(E)
33 Amikor tizenkét óra lett, sötétség támadt az egész földön három óráig.
34 Három órakor Jézus hangosan felkiáltott: "Elói, elói, lámá sabaktáni!" - ami ezt jelenti: "Én Istenem, én Istenem, miért hagytál el engem?"
35 Néhányan az ott állók közül, akik meghallották, így szóltak: "Nézd, Illést hívja."
36 Valaki elfutott, megtöltött egy szivacsot ecettel, nádszálra tűzte, inni adott neki, és így szólt: "Lássuk csak, eljön-e Illés, hogy levegye?"

Jézus temetése(F)

43 eljött arimátiai József, a nagytanács tekintélyes tagja, aki maga is várta az Isten országát; bátran bement Pilátushoz, és elkérte Jézus testét.
44 Pilátus csodálkozott azon, hogy már meghalt, ezért hívatta a századost, és megkérdezte tőle, hogy meghalt-e már.
45 Amikor ezt megtudta a századostól, kiadatta a holttestet Józsefnek.
46 Ő pedig gyolcsot vásárolt, levette őt, begöngyölte a gyolcsba, elhelyezte egy sziklába vágott sírboltba, és követ hengerített a sírbolt bejárata elé.
47 A magdalai Mária és Mária, a József anyja pedig figyelte, hova helyezték őt.
