窮寡婦的奉獻
21 耶穌抬頭觀看，見有錢人正把捐項投進奉獻箱裡， 2 又見一個窮寡婦投進兩個小銅錢， 3 就說：「我實在告訴你們，這位窮寡婦奉獻的比其他人都多。 4 因為他們不過奉獻了自己剩餘的，但這窮寡婦卻奉獻了她賴以為生的一切。」
預言將來的事
5 有些人正在談論由精美的石頭和珍貴的供物所裝飾的聖殿， 6 耶穌說：「你們現在所見到的，將來有一天要被完全拆毀，找不到兩塊疊在一起的石頭。」
7 他們問：「老師，這些事什麼時候會發生呢？發生的時候有什麼預兆呢？」
8 耶穌回答說：「你們要小心提防，不要被迷惑。因為將來會有許多人冒我的名來，說，『我就是基督』，或說，『時候到了』，你們切勿跟從他們。 9 你們聽見打仗和叛亂的事，不要害怕，因為這些事一定會先發生，但末日將不會立刻來臨。」
10 耶穌接著說：「民族將與民族互鬥，國家將與國家相爭， 11 將有大地震，各處將有饑荒和瘟疫，天上也將出現恐怖的景象和大異兆。
12 「這些事情出現之前，人們要拘捕你們，迫害你們，把你們押到會堂和監牢，你們將為了我的名而被君王和官長審問。 13 那時，正是你們為我做見證的好機會。 14 你們要立定心志，不要為怎樣申辯而憂慮， 15 因為我會賜給你們口才、智慧，使你們的仇敵全無反駁的餘地。 16 你們將被父母、弟兄、親戚、朋友出賣，你們有些人會被他們害死。 17 你們將為我的名而被眾人憎恨， 18 但你們連一根頭髮也不會失落。 19 你們只要堅忍到底，必能保全自己的靈魂。
20 「你們看見耶路撒冷被重兵包圍時，就知道它被毀滅的日子快到了。 21 那時，住在猶太地區的人要趕快逃到山上去，住在城裡的人要跑到城外，住在鄉村的人不要進城， 22 因為那是報應的日子，要應驗聖經的全部記載。 23 那時，孕婦和哺育嬰兒的母親們可就遭殃了！因為將有大災難降在這地方，烈怒要臨到這些人民。 24 他們要死在刀劍之下，要被擄到外國去。耶路撒冷要被外族人蹂躪，直到外族人肆虐的日期滿了為止。
25 「日月星辰必顯出異兆，怒海洶湧、波濤翻騰，令各國驚恐不安。 26 天體必震動，人類想到世界要面臨的事都嚇得魂不附體。 27 那時，他們要看見人子駕著雲、帶著能力和極大的榮耀降臨。 28 當這些事發生時，你們要昂首挺胸，因為你們蒙救贖的日子近了。」
警醒禱告
29 耶穌又講了一個比喻：「看看無花果樹和其他樹木吧。 30 當你們看見樹木發芽長葉時，就知道夏天近了。 31 同樣，當你們看見這些事情發生時，就知道上帝的國近了。
32 「我實在告訴你們，這個世代還沒有過去，這一切都要發生。 33 天地都要消逝，但我的話永不消逝。
34 「你們要小心，不要被宴樂、醉酒和人生的掛慮所拖累，免得那日子像網羅般突然臨到你們， 35 因為那日子將要這樣臨到世上每一個人。 36 你們要時刻警醒，常常禱告，使你們能逃過這一切將要發生的災難，並能站在人子面前。」
37 耶穌每天在聖殿裡講道，晚上則到城外的橄欖山上過夜。 38 百姓一早都趕去聖殿聽祂的教導。

Änkans offergåva
21 (A) Jesus lyfte blicken och såg hur de rika lade sina gåvor i offerkistan[a]. 2 Men han såg också hur en fattig änka lade i två små kopparmynt[b]. 3 (B) Då sade han: "Jag säger er sanningen: Den här fattiga änkan gav mer än alla de andra. 4 Alla andra gav av sitt överflöd i offerkistan, men hon gav i sin fattigdom allt hon hade att leva på."
Templet ska förstöras
5 (C) När några talade om hur templet var utsmyckat[c] med vackra stenar och tempelgåvor, sade Jesus: 6 (D) "Detta som ni ser – det ska komma dagar då här inte lämnas sten på sten. Allt ska rivas ner."
Nöd och förföljelse
7 Då frågade de honom: "Mästare, när ska det ske? Och vad blir tecknet när det ska hända?" 8 (E) Han svarade: "Se till att ni inte blir vilseledda. Många ska komma i mitt namn och säga: Jag är Messias, och: Tiden är nära. Följ dem inte! 9 Och när ni får höra om krig och uppror, så bli inte förskräckta. Sådant måste först hända, men slutet kommer inte genast."
10 (F) Sedan sade han till dem: "Folk ska resa sig mot folk och rike mot rike. 11 Det ska bli stora jordbävningar och svält och pest på den ena platsen efter den andra, och skrämmande syner och väldiga tecken från himlen.
12 (G) Men innan allt detta händer ska man gripa och förfölja er. Man ska utlämna er åt synagogor och fängelser och ställa er inför kungar och ståthållare för mitt namns skull. 13 Då får ni tillfälle att vittna. 14 (H) Bestäm er för att inte förbereda några försvarstal, 15 (I) för jag ska ge er en mun och en vishet som ingen av era fiender ska kunna stå emot eller säga emot. 16 (J) Ni kommer att bli förrådda till och med av föräldrar och syskon och släktingar och vänner, och en del av er ska man döda. 17 Och ni kommer att bli hatade av alla för mitt namns skull. 18 (K) Men inte ett hår på ert huvud ska gå förlorat. 19 (L) Genom att stå fasta ska ni vinna era själar.
Jerusalems förstörelse
20 (M) När ni ser Jerusalem omringas av armeer, då vet ni att dess förstörelse är nära. 21 (N) Då måste de som är i Judeen fly till bergen, och de som är inne i staden måste lämna den, och de som är ute på landet får inte gå in i staden. 22 (O) Det är straffets tid, då allt som är skrivet ska gå i uppfyllelse.
23 Ve dem som väntar barn eller ammar under de dagarna, för landet ska drabbas av stor nöd och vredesdomen ska nå detta folk. 24 (P) De ska falla för svärdsegg och föras bort som fångar till alla hednafolk, och Jerusalem ska trampas av hedningar tills hedningarnas tider är fullbordade.
Människosonen kommer
25 (Q) Tecken ska visa sig i solen och månen och stjärnorna, och på jorden ska folken gripas av ångest och stå rådlösa vid havets och vågornas dån. 26 Människor ska tappa andan[d] av skräck i väntan på det som ska drabba världen, för himlens makter ska skakas. 27 (R) Då ska man se Människosonen komma i ett moln med stor makt och härlighet. 28 (S) Men när det här börjar hända, så räta på er och lyft era huvuden, för er befrielse närmar sig."
29 (T) Han gav dem också en liknelse: "Se på fikonträdet och alla andra träd. 30 När ni ser att de knoppas, förstår ni av er själva att sommaren redan är nära. 31 På samma sätt vet ni, när ni ser detta hända, att Guds rike är nära. 32 Jag säger er sanningen: Det här släktet[e] ska inte förgå förrän allt detta sker. 33 (U) Himmel och jord ska förgå, men mina ord ska aldrig förgå.
34 (V) Men akta er för att tynga era hjärtan med festande, rus och livets bekymmer så att den dagen plötsligt drabbar er 35 (W) som en snara, för den ska drabba alla som bor över hela jorden. 36 (X) Var ständigt vakna och be om kraft att undfly allt som ska ske och kunna bestå inför Människosonen."
37 (Y) Under dagarna var han i templet och undervisade, men på kvällarna gick han ut och övernattade på det berg som kallas Olivberget. 38 Och tidigt på morgonen kom allt folket till honom i templet för att lyssna på honom.

The Widow’s Offering(A)
21 As Jesus looked up, he saw the rich putting their gifts into the temple treasury.(B) 2 He also saw a poor widow put in two very small copper coins. 3 “Truly I tell you,” he said, “this poor widow has put in more than all the others. 4 All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.”(C)
The Destruction of the Temple and Signs of the End Times(D)(E)
5 Some of his disciples were remarking about how the temple was adorned with beautiful stones and with gifts dedicated to God. But Jesus said, 6 “As for what you see here, the time will come when not one stone will be left on another;(F) every one of them will be thrown down.”
7 “Teacher,” they asked, “when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that they are about to take place?”
8 He replied: “Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am he,’ and, ‘The time is near.’ Do not follow them.(G) 9 When you hear of wars and uprisings, do not be frightened. These things must happen first, but the end will not come right away.”
10 Then he said to them: “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.(H) 11 There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.(I)
12 “But before all this, they will seize you and persecute you. They will hand you over to synagogues and put you in prison, and you will be brought before kings and governors, and all on account of my name. 13 And so you will bear testimony to me.(J) 14 But make up your mind not to worry beforehand how you will defend yourselves.(K) 15 For I will give you(L) words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict. 16 You will be betrayed even by parents, brothers and sisters, relatives and friends,(M) and they will put some of you to death. 17 Everyone will hate you because of me.(N) 18 But not a hair of your head will perish.(O) 19 Stand firm, and you will win life.(P)
20 “When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies,(Q) you will know that its desolation is near. 21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country not enter the city.(R) 22 For this is the time of punishment(S) in fulfillment(T) of all that has been written. 23 How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people. 24 They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled(U) on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
25 “There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea.(V) 26 People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken.(W) 27 At that time they will see the Son of Man(X) coming in a cloud(Y) with power and great glory. 28 When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”(Z)
29 He told them this parable: “Look at the fig tree and all the trees. 30 When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near. 31 Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God(AA) is near.
32 “Truly I tell you, this generation(AB) will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.(AC)
34 “Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life,(AD) and that day will close on you suddenly(AE) like a trap. 35 For it will come on all those who live on the face of the whole earth. 36 Be always on the watch, and pray(AF) that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.”
37 Each day Jesus was teaching at the temple,(AG) and each evening he went out(AH) to spend the night on the hill called the Mount of Olives,(AI) 38 and all the people came early in the morning to hear him at the temple.(AJ)

21 Jesús vio como los ricos echaban sus ofrendas en las alcancías del templo. 2 También vio como una viuda echaba dos moneditas de cobre.
3 Él dijo:
―Les aseguro que esta viuda echó más que todos los demás, 4 porque todos ellos dieron sus ofrendas de lo que les sobraba; pero ella, en medio de su pobreza, dio todo lo que tenía para vivir.
Señales del fin del mundo
5 Algunos de sus discípulos hablaban del templo, de las hermosas piedras y ofrendas dedicadas a Dios, que lo adornaban. Pero Jesús les dijo:
6 ―Llegará el día en que no quedará ni una piedra que esté sobre otra. Todo será destruido.
7 Le preguntaron:
―Maestro, ¿cuándo sucederá eso? ¿Cuál será la señal de que está a punto de suceder?
8 Jesús les dijo:
―Tengan cuidado. No se dejen engañar. Porque vendrán muchos que haciéndose pasar por mí, dirán: “Yo soy” y “el tiempo ya está cerca”. Ustedes no los sigan. 9 Cuando oigan que hay guerras y revoluciones, no se asusten. Primero tienen que pasar estas cosas, pero todavía no vendrá el fin.
10 Continuó diciéndoles:
―Pelearán una nación contra otra y un reino contra otro reino. 11 Habrá grandes terremotos, hambrunas y epidemias por todas partes. En el cielo ocurrirán cosas espantosas y grandes señales.
12 »Pero antes que todo esto suceda, echarán mano de ustedes y los perseguirán. Los entregarán a las sinagogas y los meterán en las cárceles. Por ser mis seguidores, los llevarán ante reyes y gobernadores. 13 Esto les dará a ustedes la oportunidad de hablarles de mí. 14 Pero no se preocupen de antemano de cómo se defenderán, 15 pues yo les daré las palabras adecuadas y sabias para responder, y ninguno de sus enemigos podrá estar en contra de ustedes ni contradecirlos. 16 A ustedes los traicionarán aun sus padres, hermanos, parientes y amigos. Y a algunos los matarán. 17 Todo el mundo los odiará por ser mis seguidores. 18 ¡Pero ni uno solo de los cabellos de su cabeza se perderá! 19 Si se mantienen firmes, se salvarán.
20 »Cuando vean a Jerusalén rodeada de ejércitos, sepan que su destrucción está cerca. 21 Los que estén en Judea, huyan a las montañas; los que estén en la ciudad salgan de ella; y los que estén en el campo no regresen a la ciudad. 22 Esos días serán de juicio y en ellos se cumplirá todo lo que está escrito. 23 ¡Ay de las que estén embarazadas o amamantando en aquellos días! Porque habrá mucho sufrimiento en la tierra y este pueblo será castigado. 24 Unos morirán a filo de espada y a otros los llevarán prisioneros a todas las naciones. Los gentiles pisotearán a Jerusalén, hasta que llegue el tiempo señalado para ellos.
25 »Habrá señales en el sol, la luna y las estrellas. En la tierra, las naciones estarán angustiadas y confundidas por el bramido del mar y de las olas. 26 Los hombres se desmayarán de terror por el miedo de lo que sucederá con el mundo. Todos los cuerpos celestes serán sacudidos. 27 Entonces verán al Hijo del hombre que viene en una nube con gran poder y gloria. 28 Cuando estas cosas comiencen a suceder, anímense y levanten la cabeza, porque su salvación está cerca».
29 Jesús también les dijo:
―Fíjense en la higuera o en cualquiera de los otros árboles.
30 »Cuando las hojas le comienzan a brotar, ustedes se pueden dar cuenta por sí mismos de que el verano se acerca. 31 Así también, cuando vean que las cosas que les dije suceden, eso quiere decir que el reino de Dios está cerca. 32 Les aseguro que todas estas cosas sucederán antes que pase esta generación. 33 El cielo y la tierra dejarán de existir, pero mis palabras nunca dejarán de existir.
34 »¡Cuídense! No sea que por el vicio, las borracheras y todas las preocupaciones de esta vida, se les endurezca el corazón. Ese día puede llegar cuando ustedes menos lo esperen. 35 Vendrá como una emboscada sobre todos los habitantes de la tierra. 36 Ustedes estén siempre vigilantes. Oren para que puedan escapar de todo lo que va a suceder, y así puedan presentarse delante del Hijo del hombre».
37 Jesús pasaba la noche en el monte de los Olivos, pero enseñaba de día en el templo, 38 y toda la gente madrugaba para ir a oírlo.

21 And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury.
2 And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.
3 And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:
4 For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.
5 And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said,
6 As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
7 And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?
8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.
9 But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.
10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.
13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.
14 Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:
15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.
16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.
17 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake.
18 But there shall not an hair of your head perish.
19 In your patience possess ye your souls.
20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.
24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.
31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.
33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
37 And in the day time he was teaching in the temple; and at night he went out, and abode in the mount that is called the mount of Olives.
38 And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple, for to hear him.
