凶恶园户的比喻
9 耶稣就设比喻对百姓说：“有人栽了一个葡萄园，租给园户，就往外国去住了许久。 10 到了时候，打发一个仆人到园户那里去，叫他们把园中当纳的果子交给他。园户竟打了他，叫他空手回去。 11 又打发一个仆人去，他们也打了他，并且凌辱他，叫他空手回去。 12 又打发第三个仆人去，他们也打伤了他，把他推出去了。 13 园主说：‘我怎么办呢？我要打发我的爱子去，或者他们尊敬他。’ 14 不料园户看见他，就彼此商量说：‘这是承受产业的。我们杀他吧，使产业归于我们！’ 15 于是把他推出葡萄园外杀了。这样，葡萄园的主人要怎样处治他们呢？ 16 他要来除灭这些园户，将葡萄园转给别人。”听见的人说：“这是万不可的！” 17 耶稣看着他们说：“经上记着：‘匠人所弃的石头，已做了房角的头块石头。’这是什么意思呢？ 18 凡掉在那石头上的，必要跌碎；那石头掉在谁的身上，就要把谁砸得稀烂。”
巧言盘问

Jesus’ Authority Questioned(A)
20 Now (B)it happened on one of those days, as He taught the people in the temple and preached the gospel, that the chief priests and the scribes, together with the elders, confronted Him 2 and spoke to Him, saying, “Tell us, (C)by what authority are You doing these things? Or who is he who gave You this authority?”
3 But He answered and said to them, “I also will ask you one thing, and answer Me: 4 The (D)baptism of John—was it from heaven or from men?”
5 And they reasoned among themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ He will say, ‘Why [a]then did you not believe him?’ 6 But if we say, ‘From men,’ all the people will stone us, (E)for they are persuaded that John was a prophet.” 7 So they answered that they did not know where it was from.
8 And Jesus said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.”
The Parable of the Wicked Vinedressers(F)
9 Then He began to tell the people this parable: (G)“A certain man planted a vineyard, leased it to [b]vinedressers, and went into a far country for a long time. 10 Now at [c]vintage-time he (H)sent a servant to the vinedressers, that they might give him some of the fruit of the vineyard. But the vinedressers beat him and sent him away empty-handed. 11 Again he sent another servant; and they beat him also, treated him shamefully, and sent him away empty-handed. 12 And again he sent a third; and they wounded him also and cast him out.
13 “Then the owner of the vineyard said, ‘What shall I do? I will send my beloved son. The Pharisees: Is It Lawful to Pay Taxes to Caesar?(Q)
20 (R)So they watched Him, and sent spies who pretended to be righteous, that they might seize on His words, in order to deliver Him to the power and the authority of the governor.
21 Then they asked Him, saying, (S)“Teacher, we know that You say and teach rightly, and You do not show personal favoritism, but teach the way of God in truth: 22 Is it lawful for us to pay taxes to Caesar or not?”
23 But He perceived their craftiness, and said to them, [e]“Why do you test Me? 24 Show Me a denarius. Whose image and inscription does it have?”
They answered and said, “Caesar’s.”
25 And He said to them, (T)“Render[f] therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”
26 But they could not catch Him in His words in the presence of the people. And they marveled at His answer and kept silent.
The Sadducees: What About the Resurrection?(U)
27 (V)Then some of the Sadducees, (W)who deny that there is a resurrection, came to Him and asked Him, 28 saying: “Teacher, Moses wrote to us that if a man’s brother dies, having a wife, and he dies without children, his brother should take his wife and raise up offspring for his brother. 29 Now there were seven brothers. And the first took a wife, and died without children. 30 And the second [g]took her as wife, and he died childless. 31 Then the third took her, and in like manner the seven [h]also; and they left no children, and died. 32 Last of all the woman died also. 33 Therefore, in the resurrection, whose wife does she become? Nag-asawa ang panganay at namatay na walang anak. 30 Nagpakasal sa biyuda ang pangalawa, subalit ito'y namatay ding walang anak. 31 Ganoon din ang nangyari sa pangatlo hanggang sa pampito. At silang lahat ay namatay na walang anak. 32 Sa kahuli-hulihan, namatay naman ang babae. 33 Ngayon, sa muling pagkabuhay, sino sa pito ang kikilalaning asawa ng babae, yamang silang lahat ay napangasawa niya?”
34 Sumagot si Jesus, “Sa buhay na ito, ang mga lalaki at mga babae ay nag-aasawa. 35 Ngunit ang mga lalaki't babaing karapat-dapat na mapasama sa muling pagkabuhay ay hindi na mag-aasawa. 36 Hindi na rin sila mamamatay sapagkat matutulad sila sa mga anghel. Sila'y mga anak ng Diyos dahil sila'y napabilang sa mga muling binuhay. 37 Maging(I) si Moises ay nagpapatunay na muling binubuhay ang mga patay. Sapagkat sa salaysay tungkol sa nagliliyab na mababang puno, ang Panginoon ay tinawag niyang ‘Diyos ni Abraham, Diyos ni Isaac at Diyos ni Jacob.’ 38 Ang Diyos ay hindi Diyos ng mga patay kundi ng mga buháy, sa kanya'y nabubuhay ang lahat.”
39 Sinabi ng ilan sa mga tagapagturo ng Kautusan, “Guro, maganda ang sagot ninyo!” 40 At mula noon ay wala nang naglakas-loob na magtanong sa kanya.
Katanungan tungkol sa “Anak ni David”(J)
41 Si Jesus naman ang nagtanong sa kanila, “Paano nasasabi ng mga tao na ang Cristo ay anak ni David? 42 Si(K)(L) David na rin ang nagsabi sa Aklat ng mga Awit,
‘Sinabi ng Panginoon sa aking Panginoon,
“Maupo ka sa kanan ko,
43 hanggang lubusan kong mapasuko sa iyo ang mga kaaway mo.”’
44 Ngayon, kung ‘Panginoon’ ang tawag ni David sa Cristo, bakit sinasabi ng mga tao na siya'y anak ni David?”
Babala Laban sa mga Tagapagturo ng Kautusan(M)
45 Habang nakikinig ang lahat kay Jesus, sinabi niya sa kanyang mga alagad, 46 “Mag-ingat kayo sa mga tagapagturo ng Kautusan na mahilig lumakad nang may mahahabang kasuotan at gustung-gustong batiin sa mga pamilihan. Mahilig silang umupo sa mga pangunahing upuan sa mga sinagoga at sa mga upuang pandangal sa mga handaan. 47 Inuubos nila ang kabuhayan ng mga biyuda, at ginagamit ang kanilang mahahabang dasal bilang pakitang-tao. Dahil diyan, lalo pang bibigat ang parusa sa kanila.”
