祈求 神记念他的子民
亚萨的训诲诗。
74 神啊！你为甚么永远丢弃我们呢？
为甚么你的怒气向你草场上的羊群好象烟冒出呢？（本节在《马索拉文本》包括细字标题）
2 求你记念你在古时买赎的会众，
就是你赎回作你产业的民族；
求你记念你所居住的锡安山。
3 求你举步去看那些长久荒凉的地方，
去看仇敌在圣所里所行的一切恶事。
4 你的敌人在敬拜你的聚会中吼叫，
他们竖起了自己的旗帜为记号。
5 他们好象那些举起斧子，
在树林中砍伐树木的人。
6 圣殿中的一切雕刻，
他们都用斧子和铳子打碎了。
7 他们用火把你的圣所烧成焦土，
他们亵渎你名的居所。
8 他们心里说：“我们要把它们完全毁灭！”
他们烧毁了地上一切敬拜 神的聚会地方。
9 我们看不见我们的记号，
也不再有先知；
我们中间也没有人知道这灾祸要到几时。
10 神啊！敌人辱骂你要到几时呢？
仇敌亵慢你的名要到永远吗？
11 你为甚么把你的手，就是你的右手收回呢？
求你从怀中抽出来毁灭他们。
12 神自古以来就是我的君王，
在地上施行拯救。
13 你曾用你的大能分开大海，
把海中怪兽的头都打碎了。
14 你砸碎了利未亚坦（“利未亚坦”为原文音译词，或译：“海怪”〔伯3:8〕或“鳄鱼”〔伯41:1〕）的头，
把牠给住在旷野的人作食物。
15 你曾开辟泉源和溪流，
又使长流不息的江河干涸。
16 白昼是你的，黑夜也是你的，
月亮和太阳，都是你设立的。
17 地上的一切疆界都是你立定的，
夏天和冬天都是你制定的。
18 耶和华啊！仇敌辱骂你，
愚顽人亵渎你的名，
求你记念这事。
19 求你不要把你斑鸠的性命交给野兽，
不要永远忘记你困苦人的性命。
20 求你顾念所立的约，
因为地上黑暗的地方充满了强暴的居所。
21 不要使受欺压的人蒙羞回去，
要使困苦、贫穷的人赞美你的名。
22 神啊！求你起来，为你的案件辩护，
要记得愚顽人终日对你的辱骂。
23 求你不要忘记你敌人的声音，
不要忘记那些起来与你为敌的人不住加剧地喧闹。

1 Ðức Chúa Trời ôi, sao Ngài nỡ bỏ chúng con mãi thế này?
Sao khói thịnh nộ của Ngài vẫn còn bốc lên nghịch lại đàn chiên của đồng cỏ Ngài?
2 Xin nhớ lại con dân Ngài, những kẻ Ngài đã mua chuộc từ thời xa xưa, tức chi tộc Ngài đã chuộc để làm cơ nghiệp;
Xin nhớ lại Núi Si-ôn, nơi Ngài đã ngự.
3 Cầu xin Ngài đặt bước đến những nơi đang đổ nát triền miên;
Trong đền thánh Ngài quân thù đã phá tan mọi vật.
4 Những kẻ chống nghịch Ngài đã la hét om sòm giữa thánh điện tôn nghiêm;
Chúng đã giương cờ chúng lên làm biểu kỳ giữa nơi tôn thánh.
5 Nơi cửa đền thờ chúng đã nhấc rìu lên chặt phá thản nhiên,
Như thể chúng đốn gỗ trong rừng.
6 Bây giờ tất cả công trình chạm trổ đã bị chúng dùng búa rìu đập phá.
7 Chúng đã đốt đền thánh Ngài thành tro bụi;
Chúng đã làm ô uế nơi biệt riêng ra thánh cho danh Ngài ngự.
8 Chúng tự nhủ rằng, “Chúng ta phải tận diệt chúng.”
Chúng đã thiêu rụi mọi nơi thờ phượng Ðức Chúa Trời trong xứ.
9 Chúng con chẳng còn quốc kỳ[a] của mình nữa;
Chúng con cũng không còn vị tiên tri nào nữa;
Trong vòng chúng con, không ai biết họa này sẽ kéo dài đến bao lâu.
10 Ðức Chúa Trời ôi, Ngài cứ để cho quân thù của chúng con phỉ báng Ngài đến bao lâu nữa?
Chẳng lẽ quân thù của chúng con cứ xúc phạm đến danh Ngài đến đời đời sao?
11 Sao Ngài cứ khoanh tay, nhất là cánh tay phải Ngài, như vậy?
Xin Ngài vung tay ra và tiêu diệt chúng đi.
12 Dù thế nào thì từ xưa đến nay Ðức Chúa Trời vẫn là Vua của con;
Ngài đã thực hiện ơn cứu rỗi khắp hoàn cầu.
13 Ngài đã dùng quyền năng Ngài rẽ nước đại dương ra;
Ngài đã đập vỡ đầu các thủy quái[b] trong lòng biển.
14 Ngài đã đập nát các đầu con quái vật;[c]
Ngài đã biến chúng thành mồi cho các dã thú ở đồng hoang.
15 Ngài đã vạch đất nứt ra để các suối và các khe tuôn nước;
Ngài đã khiến dòng sông lai láng phải cạn khô.
16 Ban ngày là của Ngài, ban đêm cũng của Ngài;
Ngài đã sắp đặt các tinh tú và mặt trời vào vị trí.
17 Ngài đã định sẵn giới hạn của mặt đất;
Ngài đã lập nên mùa hạ và mùa đông.
18 Chúa ôi, xin nhớ lại thể nào quân thù đã phỉ báng Ngài;
Quả là một dân điên dại dám xúc phạm đến danh Ngài.
19 Xin đừng phó mạng chim bồ câu của Ngài cho bầy dã thú;
Xin đừng quên con dân Ngài đang sống cơ cực triền miên.
20 Xin nhớ lại giao ước Ngài đã lập,
Vì những nơi tối tăm trên đất đang xảy ra vô số bạo hành.
21 Nguyện những người bị áp bức sẽ không bỏ đi trong ô nhục;
Nguyện kẻ khó nghèo và khốn khổ sẽ ca ngợi danh Ngài.
22 Ðức Chúa Trời ôi, xin trỗi dậy và binh vực duyên cớ của Ngài;
Xin nhớ lại thể nào những kẻ điên rồ đã phỉ báng Ngài suốt ngày.
23 Xin đừng quên giọng điệu của những kẻ thù nghịch Ngài;
Chúng cứ liên tục gào la chống lại Ngài càng lúc càng hăng.

74 O God, why hast thou cast us off for ever? why doth thine anger smoke against the sheep of thy pasture?
2 Remember thy congregation, which thou hast purchased of old; the rod of thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed; this mount Zion, wherein thou hast dwelt.
3 Lift up thy feet unto the perpetual desolations; even all that the enemy hath done wickedly in the sanctuary.
4 Thine enemies roar in the midst of thy congregations; they set up their ensigns for signs.
5 A man was famous according as he had lifted up axes upon the thick trees.
6 But now they break down the carved work thereof at once with axes and hammers.
7 They have cast fire into thy sanctuary, they have defiled by casting down the dwelling place of thy name to the ground.
8 They said in their hearts, Let us destroy them together: they have burned up all the synagogues of God in the land.
9 We see not our signs: there is no more any prophet: neither is there among us any that knoweth how long.
10 O God, how long shall the adversary reproach? shall the enemy blaspheme thy name for ever?
11 Why withdrawest thou thy hand, even thy right hand? pluck it out of thy bosom.
12 For God is my King of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth.
13 Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength: thou brakest the heads of the dragons in the waters.
14 Thou brakest the heads of leviathan in pieces, and gavest him to be meat to the people inhabiting the wilderness.
15 Thou didst cleave the fountain and the flood: thou driedst up mighty rivers.
16 The day is thine, the night also is thine: thou hast prepared the light and the sun.
17 Thou hast set all the borders of the earth: thou hast made summer and winter.
18 Remember this, that the enemy hath reproached, O Lord, and that the foolish people have blasphemed thy name.
19 O deliver not the soul of thy turtledove unto the multitude of the wicked: forget not the congregation of thy poor for ever.
20 Have respect unto the covenant: for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty.
21 O let not the oppressed return ashamed: let the poor and needy praise thy name.
22 Arise, O God, plead thine own cause: remember how the foolish man reproacheth thee daily.
23 Forget not the voice of thine enemies: the tumult of those that rise up against thee increaseth continually.

1 O God, why have you rejected(A) us forever?(B)
Why does your anger smolder against the sheep of your pasture?(C)
2 Remember the nation you purchased(D) long ago,(E)
the people of your inheritance,(F) whom you redeemed(G)—
Mount Zion,(H) where you dwelt.(I)
3 Turn your steps toward these everlasting ruins,(J)
all this destruction the enemy has brought on the sanctuary.
4 Your foes roared(K) in the place where you met with us;
they set up their standards(L) as signs.
5 They behaved like men wielding axes
to cut through a thicket of trees.(M)
6 They smashed all the carved(N) paneling
with their axes and hatchets.
7 They burned your sanctuary to the ground;
they defiled(O) the dwelling place(P) of your Name.(Q)
8 They said in their hearts, “We will crush(R) them completely!”
They burned(S) every place where God was worshiped in the land.
9 We are given no signs from God;(T)
no prophets(U) are left,
and none of us knows how long this will be.
10 How long(V) will the enemy mock(W) you, God?
Will the foe revile(X) your name forever?
11 Why do you hold back your hand, your right hand?(Y)
Take it from the folds of your garment(Z) and destroy them!
13 It was you who split open the sea(AC) by your power;
you broke the heads of the monster(AD) in the waters.
14 It was you who crushed the heads of Leviathan(AE)
and gave it as food to the creatures of the desert.(AF)
15 It was you who opened up springs(AG) and streams;
you dried up(AH) the ever-flowing rivers.
16 The day is yours, and yours also the night;
you established the sun and moon.(AI)
17 It was you who set all the boundaries(AJ) of the earth;
you made both summer and winter.(AK)
18 Remember how the enemy has mocked you, Lord,
how foolish people(AL) have reviled your name.
19 Do not hand over the life of your dove(AM) to wild beasts;
do not forget the lives of your afflicted(AN) people forever.
20 Have regard for your covenant,(AO)
because haunts of violence fill the dark places(AP) of the land.
21 Do not let the oppressed(AQ) retreat in disgrace;
may the poor and needy(AR) praise your name.
22 Rise up,(AS) O God, and defend your cause;
remember how fools(AT) mock you all day long.
23 Do not ignore the clamor(AU) of your adversaries,(AV)
the uproar(AW) of your enemies,(AX) which rises continually.
