神必坚立圣城
歌一首，可拉子孙的诗。
48 在我们 神的城中，在他的圣山上，
耶和华是至大的，应该大受赞美。
2 在北面的锡安山、大君王的城，
美丽高耸，是全地所喜欢的。
3 神在城的堡垒中，
显明自己是避难所。
4 看哪！列王会合，
一同前进。
5 他们一见这城，就惊惶，
慌忙逃跑。
6 他们在那里战栗恐惧；
他们痛苦好象妇人分娩时一样。
7 你用东风摧毁他施的船队。
8 在万军之耶和华的城中，

使你们可以述说给后代的人听。

mu kibuga kya Katonda waffe, ku lusozi lwe olutukuvu.
2 (B)Sayuuni lwe lusozi lwe olulungi olugulumivu,
olusanyusa ensi yonna.
Ku ntikko Zafoni kwe kuli
ekibuga kya Kabaka Omukulu;
3 (C)Katonda mw’abeera;
yeeraze okuba ekigo kye.
4 (D)Kale laba, bakabaka b’ensi baakuŋŋaana
ne bakyolekera bakirumbe;
5 (E)bwe baakituukako ne bakyewuunya,
ne batya nnyo ne badduka;
6 nga bakankana,
ne bajjula obulumi ng’omukazi alumwa okuzaala.
7 (F)Wabazikiriza ng’omuyaga ogw’ebuvanjuba
bwe guzikiriza ebyombo by’e Talusiisi.
8 (G)Ebyo bye twawuliranga obuwulizi,
kaakano tubirabye
mu kibuga kya Mukama ow’Eggye,
mu kibuga kya Katonda waffe,
kyalinywereza ddala emirembe gyonna.
9 (H)Ayi Katonda, tufumiitiriza ku kwagala kwo okutaggwaawo
nga tuli mu Yeekaalu yo.
10 (I)Erinnya lyo nga bwe liri ekkulu, Ayi Katonda,
bw’otyo bw’otenderezebwa mu nsi yonna.
Omukono gwo ogwa ddyo gujjudde obuwanguzi.
11 (J)Sanyuka gwe Sayuuni,
musanyuke mmwe ebibuga bya Yuda;
kubanga Katonda alamula bya nsonga.
12 Mutambule mu Sayuuni, mukibune;
mubale n’ebigo byakyo.
13 (K)Mwekalirize nnyo munda wa bbugwe waakyo
n’olusiisira lw’amaggye lwamu lwonna;
mulyoke mutegeeze ab’emirembe egiriddawo.
14 (L)Kubanga Katonda ono, ye Katonda waffe emirembe gyonna;
y’anaatuluŋŋamyanga ennaku zonna okutuusa okufa.

Psalm 48[a]
A song. A psalm of the Sons of Korah.
1 Great is the Lord,(A) and most worthy of praise,(B)
in the city of our God,(C) his holy mountain.(D)
2 Beautiful(E) in its loftiness,
the joy of the whole earth,
like the heights of Zaphon[b](F) is Mount Zion,(G)
the city of the Great King.(H)
3 God is in her citadels;(I)
he has shown himself to be her fortress.(J)
4 When the kings joined forces,
when they advanced together,(K)
5 they saw her and were astounded;
they fled in terror.(L)
6 Trembling seized(M) them there,
pain like that of a woman in labor.(N)
7 You destroyed them like ships of Tarshish(O)
shattered by an east wind.(P)
8 As we have heard,
so we have seen
in the city of the Lord Almighty,
in the city of our God:
God makes her secure
forever.[c](Q)
9 Within your temple, O God,
we meditate(R) on your unfailing love.(S)
10 Like your name,(T) O God,
your praise reaches to the ends of the earth;(U)
your right hand is filled with righteousness.
11 Mount Zion rejoices,
the villages of Judah are glad
because of your judgments.(V)
12 Walk about Zion, go around her,
count her towers,(W)
13 consider well her ramparts,(X)
view her citadels,(Y)
that you may tell of them
to the next generation.(Z)
14 For this God is our God for ever and ever;
he will be our guide(AA) even to the end.
