於困厄中仰望 神的拯救
大衛的詩，交給詩班長。
31 耶和華啊！我投靠你；
求你使我永不羞愧，
求你按著你的公義搭救我。
2 求你留心聽我，趕快拯救我；
求你作我堅固的磐石，
作拯救我的堅壘。
3 因為你是我的巖石、我的堅壘；
為你名的緣故，求你帶領我，引導我。
4 求你救我脫離人為我暗設的網羅，
因為你是我的避難所。
5 我把我的靈魂交在你手裡，
耶和華信實的 神啊！你救贖了我。
6 我恨惡那些信奉虛無偶像的人；
至於我，我卻倚靠耶和華。
7 我要因你的慈愛歡喜快樂，
因為你看見了我的困苦，
知道我心中的痛苦；
8 你沒有把我交在仇敵的手裡，
你使我的腳站穩在寬闊之地。
9 耶和華啊！求你恩待我，因為我在患難之中；
我的眼睛因愁煩昏花，
我的身、我的心也都衰殘。
10 我的生命因愁苦耗盡，

12 我被人完全忘記，如同死了的人，
我好像破碎的器皿，
13 我聽見許多人的毀謗，

圖謀要取我的性命。
14 但是，耶和華啊！我還是倚靠你；
我說：“你是我的 神。”
15 我的一生都在你的手中；
求你救我脫離我仇敵的手，和那些迫害我的人。
16 求你用你的臉光照你的僕人，
以你的慈愛拯救我。
17 耶和華啊！求你不要使我羞愧，
因為我向你呼求；
求你使惡人羞愧，使他們在陰間靜寂無聲。
18 那些逞驕傲，態度輕慢，
說話狂傲攻擊義人的，
願他們說謊的嘴唇啞而無聲。
19 耶和華啊！你為敬畏你的人所珍藏的好處，
為投靠你的人在世人面前所施行的恩惠，
是多麼豐盛。
20 你把他們藏在你面前的隱密處，
免得他們陷在世人的陰謀裡；
又把他們保護在帳棚內，以免落在口舌的爭競中。
21 耶和華是應當稱頌的，
因為我在被圍困的城裡，
他就向我顯出他奇妙的慈愛。
22 至於我，我曾在驚恐中說：
“我從你眼前被隔絕”；
可是我向你呼求的時候，
你還是垂聽了我懇求的聲音。
23 耶和華的眾聖民哪！你們都要愛耶和華；
耶和華保護誠實的人，
卻嚴厲地報應行事驕傲的人。
24 所有仰望耶和華的人，
你們都要剛強，堅固你們的心。

1 Chúa ôi, con nương náu nơi Ngài, xin đừng để con bị hổ thẹn;
Vì đức công chính của Ngài, xin giải cứu con.
2 Xin nghiêng tai nghe con;
Xin mau mau giải cứu con;
Xin làm vầng đá kiên cố che chở con;
Xin làm đồn lũy bảo vệ để cứu con,
3 Vì Ngài chính là vầng đá và đồn lũy của con;
Vì cớ danh Ngài, xin dẫn đưa con và dìu dắt con.
4 Xin cứu con ra khỏi bẫy lưới chúng gài bắt con,
Vì Ngài là sức mạnh của con.
5 Con xin phó thác linh hồn[a] con vào trong tay Ngài,
Vì Ngài đã mua chuộc con,
Lạy Chúa, Ðức Chúa Trời thành tín của con.
6 Con[b] ghét những kẻ thờ lạy thần tượng hư không,
Nhưng con chỉ tin cậy Chúa.
7 Con sẽ vui mừng và hân hoan trong tình thương của Ngài,
Vì Ngài thấy nỗi sầu khổ của con;
Ngài biết rõ cảnh khốn khổ của linh hồn con.
8 Ngài chẳng phó con vào tay kẻ thù của con,
Nhưng Ngài đặt chân con vào nơi rộng rãi.
9 Xin thương xót con, Chúa ôi, vì con khốn khổ lắm;
Mắt con thẫn thờ vì sầu khổ,
Linh hồn và thân xác con cũng vậy.
10 Ðời con tiêu hao vì buồn khổ;
Những năm của đời con biến đi với tiếng thở dài;
Sức lực con trở nên yếu ớt vì tội lỗi con,
Và xương cốt con đều suy nhược.
11 Vì cớ mọi kẻ thù của con, con đã trở thành cớ cười chê cho
những người lân cận,
Một kẻ bị tởm cho những người quen biết;
Khi thấy con ngoài đường, họ vội vàng lẩn tránh.
12 Con bị bỏ quên như kẻ đã chết rồi, không ai nhớ đến nữa;
Con trở nên như cái bình đã vỡ.
13 Vì con đã nghe được những lời rỉ tai nói xấu của nhiều người,
Nên nỗi kinh hoàng đã vây quanh con tứ phía;
Chúng bàn luận với nhau chống lại con;
Chúng lập mưu với nhau cất lấy mạng sống con.
14 Dầu vậy con vẫn tin cậy Ngài, Chúa ôi;
Con nói rằng, “Ngài là Ðức Chúa Trời của con.”
15 Sinh mạng con ở trong tay Ngài;
Xin giải cứu con khỏi tay kẻ thù ghét con,
Và khỏi tay những kẻ bách hại con.
16 Xin tỏa sáng mặt Ngài trên tôi tớ Ngài;
Xin giải cứu con vì tình thương của Ngài.
17 Chúa ôi, xin đừng để con bị hổ thẹn, vì con kêu cầu Ngài;
Nhưng xin để kẻ gian ác phải bị hổ thẹn;
Xin bắt chúng phải lặng câm đi vào âm phủ.
18 Nguyện những môi nói dối phải câm nín,
Tức những kẻ ngạo mạn và khinh người trơ tráo nói nghịch người ngay lành.
19 Ôi, vĩ đại thay là lòng tốt của Ngài,
Mà Ngài đã dành sẵn cho những người kính sợ Ngài,
Và đã thực hiện cho những người tin cậy Ngài,
Trước mặt con cái loài người!
20 Ngài che giấu họ khỏi những âm mưu của loài người trong nơi hiện diện bí mật của Ngài;
Ngài bảo vệ họ khỏi những lưỡi vu cáo trong nơi Ngài ngự.
21 Chúc tụng Chúa!

For the director of music. A psalm of David.
1 In you, Lord, I have taken refuge;(B)
let me never be put to shame;
deliver me in your righteousness.(C)
2 Turn your ear to me,(D)
come quickly to my rescue;(E)
be my rock of refuge,(F)
a strong fortress to save me.
3 Since you are my rock and my fortress,(G)
for the sake of your name(H) lead and guide me.
4 Keep me free from the trap(I) that is set for me,
for you are my refuge.(J)
5 Into your hands I commit my spirit;(K)
deliver me, Lord, my faithful God.(L)
6 I hate those who cling to worthless idols;(M)
as for me, I trust in the Lord.(N)
7 I will be glad and rejoice in your love,
for you saw my affliction(O)
and knew the anguish(P) of my soul.
8 You have not given me into the hands(Q) of the enemy
but have set my feet in a spacious place.(R)
9 Be merciful to me, Lord, for I am in distress;(S)
my eyes grow weak with sorrow,(T)
my soul and body(U) with grief.
10 My life is consumed by anguish(V)
and my years by groaning;(W)

11 Because of all my enemies,(AA)

and an object of dread to my closest friends—

14 But I trust(AI) in you, Lord;
I say, “You are my God.”

deliver me from the hands of my enemies,
from those who pursue me.
16 Let your face shine(AK) on your servant;
save me in your unfailing love.(AL)
17 Let me not be put to shame,(AM) Lord,
for I have cried out to you;
but let the wicked be put to shame
and be silent(AN) in the realm of the dead.
18 Let their lying lips(AO) be silenced,
for with pride and contempt
they speak arrogantly(AP) against the righteous.
19 How abundant are the good things(AQ)
that you have stored up for those who fear you,
that you bestow in the sight of all,(AR)
on those who take refuge(AS) in you.
20 In the shelter(AT) of your presence you hide(AU) them
from all human intrigues;(AV)
you keep them safe in your dwelling
from accusing tongues.

31 Lord, I seek refuge in you;
let me never be disgraced.(A)
Save me by your righteousness.
2 Listen closely to me; rescue me quickly.
Be a rock of refuge for me,
a mountain fortress to save me.(B)
3 For you are my rock and my fortress;(C)
you lead and guide me
for your name’s sake.(D)
4 You will free me from the net
that is secretly set for me,
for you are my refuge.(E)
5 Into your hand I entrust my spirit;(F)
you have redeemed me,[a] Lord, God of truth.(G)
6 I[b] hate those who are devoted to worthless idols,
but I trust in the Lord.(H)
7 I will rejoice and be glad in your faithful love
because you have seen my affliction.
You know the troubles of my soul(I)
8 and have not handed me over to the enemy.(J)
You have set my feet in a spacious place.(K)
9 Be gracious to me, Lord,
because I am in distress;(L)
my eyes are worn out from frustration –
my whole being[c] as well.(M)
10 Indeed, my life is consumed with grief
and my years with groaning;(N)
my strength has failed
because of my iniquity,[d]

11 I am ridiculed by all my adversaries
and even by my neighbours.
I am dreaded by my acquaintances;

12 I am forgotten: gone from memory

13 I have heard the gossip of many;
terror is on every side.(R)
When they conspired against me,
they plotted to take my life.(S)
14 But I trust in you, Lord;
I say, ‘You are my God.’(T)
15 The course of my life is in your power;(U)
rescue me from the power of my enemies
and from my persecutors.(V)
16 Make your face shine on your servant;(W)

17 Lord, do not let me be disgraced when I call on you.(Y)
Let the wicked be disgraced;

that arrogantly speak against the righteous

19 How great is your goodness,
which you have stored up for those who fear you.
In the presence of everyone[g] you have acted

from human schemes,

21 Blessed be the Lord,
for he has wondrously shown his faithful love to me

The Lord protects the loyal,

31 In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.
2 Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for an house of defence to save me.
3 For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me.
4 Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me: for thou art my strength.
5 Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O Lord God of truth.
6 I have hated them that regard lying vanities: but I trust in the Lord.
7 I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities;
8 And hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a large room.
9 Have mercy upon me, O Lord, for I am in trouble: mine eye is consumed with grief, yea, my soul and my belly.
10 For my life is spent with grief, and my years with sighing: my strength faileth because of mine iniquity, and my bones are consumed.
11 I was a reproach among all mine enemies, but especially among my neighbours, and a fear to mine acquaintance: they that did see me without fled from me.

13 For I have heard the slander of many: fear was on every side: while they took counsel together against me, they devised to take away my life.
14 But I trusted in thee, O Lord: I said, Thou art my God.
15 My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.
16 Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies' sake.
17 Let me not be ashamed, O Lord; for I have called upon thee: let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be silent in the grave.
18 Let the lying lips be put to silence; which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous.
19 Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!
20 Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.
21 Blessed be the Lord: for he hath shewed me his marvellous kindness in a strong city.
22 For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes: nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications when I cried unto thee.
23 O love the Lord, all ye his saints: for the Lord preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.
24 Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.
