信靠上帝的祷告
大卫的诗，交给乐长。
31 耶和华啊，我寻求你的庇护，
求你让我永不蒙羞；
你是公义的，求你拯救我。
2 求你侧耳听我的呼求，
快来救我，作我坚固的避难所，
作拯救我的堡垒。
3 你是我的磐石，我的堡垒，
求你为了自己的名而引导我，带领我。
4 你是我的避难所，
求你救我脱离人们为我设下的陷阱。
5 我将灵魂交托给你。
信实的上帝耶和华啊，
你必救赎我。
6 我憎恨拜假神的人，
我信靠耶和华。
7 你已经看见我的困苦，
知道我心中的愁烦，
你的恩慈使我欢喜快乐。
8 你没有将我交给仇敌，
而是领我到宽阔之地。
9 耶和华啊，我落在苦难之中，
求你怜悯我，
我双眼哭肿，身心疲惫。
10 我的生命被愁苦吞噬，
岁月被哀伤耗尽，
力量因罪恶而消逝，
我成了枯骨一堆。
11 仇敌羞辱我，
邻居厌弃我，
朋友害怕我，
路人纷纷躲避我。
12 我就像已死之人，被人遗忘；
又像破碎的陶器，被人丢弃。

求你不要叫我蒙羞。
求你使恶人蒙羞，
寂然无声地躺在阴间。
18 愿你堵住撒谎之人的口，
他们骄傲自大，
狂妄地攻击义人。
19 你的恩惠何其大——为敬畏你的人而预备，
在世人面前赐给投靠你的人。
20 你把他们藏在你那里，
使他们得到庇护，
免遭世人暗算。
你使他们在你的居所安然无恙，
免受恶言恶语的攻击。
21 耶和华当受称颂！
因为我被困城中时，
祂以奇妙的爱待我。
22 我曾惊恐地说：
“你丢弃了我！”
其实你听了我的呼求。
23 耶和华忠心的子民啊，
你们要爱祂。
祂保护忠心的人，
严惩骄傲的人。

For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David.
31 In you, Yahweh, I take refuge.
Let me never be disappointed.
Deliver me in your righteousness.
2 Bow down your ear to me.
Deliver me speedily.
Be to me a strong rock,
a house of defense to save me.
3 For you are my rock and my fortress,
therefore for your name’s sake lead me and guide me.
4 Pluck me out of the net that they have laid secretly for me,
for you are my stronghold.
5 Into your hand I commend my spirit.
You redeem me, Yahweh, God of truth.
6 I hate those who regard lying vanities,
but I trust in Yahweh.
7 I will be glad and rejoice in your loving kindness,
for you have seen my affliction.
You have known my soul in adversities.
8 You have not shut me up into the hand of the enemy.
You have set my feet in a large place.
9 Have mercy on me, Yahweh, for I am in distress.
My eye, my soul, and my body waste away with grief.
10 For my life is spent with sorrow,
my years with sighing.
My strength fails because of my iniquity.
My bones are wasted away.
11 Because of all my adversaries I have become utterly contemptible to my neighbors,
a horror to my acquaintances.
Those who saw me on the street fled from me.
12 I am forgotten from their hearts like a dead man.
I am like broken pottery.
13 For I have heard the slander of many, terror on every side,
while they conspire together against me,
they plot to take away my life.
14 But I trust in you, Yahweh.
I said, “You are my God.”
15 My times are in your hand.
Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from those who persecute me.
16 Make your face to shine on your servant.
Save me in your loving kindness.
17 Let me not be disappointed, Yahweh, for I have called on you.
Let the wicked be disappointed.
Let them be silent in Sheol.[a]
18 Let the lying lips be mute,
which speak against the righteous insolently, with pride and contempt.
19 Oh how great is your goodness,
which you have laid up for those who fear you,
which you have worked for those who take refuge in you,
before the sons of men!
20 In the shelter of your presence you will hide them from the plotting of man.
You will keep them secretly in a dwelling away from the strife of tongues.
21 Praise be to Yahweh,
for he has shown me his marvelous loving kindness in a strong city.
22 As for me, I said in my haste, “I am cut off from before your eyes.”
Nevertheless you heard the voice of my petitions when I cried to you.
23 Oh love Yahweh, all you his saints!
Yahweh preserves the faithful,
and fully recompenses him who behaves arrogantly.
24 Be strong, and let your heart take courage,
all you who hope in Yahweh.

Pangamuyo sang Tawo nga Nagasalig sa Dios
31 Ginoo, sa imo ako nagapangayo sang proteksyon.
Indi pag-itugot nga mahuy-an ako.
Luwasa ako tungod kay matarong ka.
2 Pamatii ako kag luwasa gilayon.
Protektari ako pareho sa palalipdan nga bato;
depensahi ako pareho sa mabakod nga palanaguan.
3 Tungod kay ikaw ang akon palalipdan nga bato kag mabakod nga palanaguan,
tuytuyi kag ubayi ako agod mapadunggan ka.
4 Ilikaw ako sa siod nga ginbutang sang akon mga kaaway para sa akon,
kay ikaw ang akon mabakod nga dalangpan.
5 Ginatugyan ko sa imo ang akon kabuhi.[a]
Luwasa ako, Ginoo, Dios nga masaligan.
6 Ginakaugtan ko ang mga nagasimba sa mga dios-dios nga wala man lang sing pulos,
kay nagasalig ako sa imo, Ginoo.
7 Magakalipay gid ako tungod sang imo gugma,
kay nakita mo ang akon mga pag-antos,
kag nahibaluan mo ang akon mga kalisod.
8 Wala mo ako gintugyan sa akon mga kaaway;
ginluwas mo ako sa katalagman.
9 Ginoo, kaluoyi ako kay nalisdan ako.
Nagapalamarok ang akon mata sang hibi,
kag nagapalangluya na ako.
10 Puno sang kasubo ang akon kabuhi.
Pila na ka tuig nga nagahibi ako permi.
Nagapalangluya na ako tungod sang akon mga pag-antos,[b]
kag daw nagakamudmod na ang akon mga tul-an.
11 Ginapakahuy-an ako sang tanan ko nga kaaway,
labi na sang akon mga kasimanwa.
Bisan ang akon mga kilala nahadlok na nga magpalapit sa akon.
Kon makita nila ako sa dalan nagapalagyo sila.
12 Ginakalimtan na nila ako, nga daw sa napatay na ako.
Para sa ila pareho ako sa buka nga kolon nga wala na sing pulos.
13 Mabatian ko ang paghinutikay sang madamo nga mga kaaway.
Bisan diin ako magkadto nahadlok ako,
kay nagaplano sila nga patyon ako.
14 Pero nagasalig ako sa imo, Ginoo.
Ikaw ang akon Dios.
15 Ang akon kapalaran ara sa imo;
luwasa ako sa akon mga kaaway nga nagahingabot sa akon.
16 Ipakita ang imo kaayo sa akon nga imo alagad;
tungod nga ginahigugma mo ako, luwasa ako.
17 Indi pag-itugot nga mahuy-an ako, Ginoo,
kay nagapanawag ako sa imo.
Pakahuy-i ang mga malaot kag pamatya sila
agod magpakalinong sila sa lulubngan.[c]
18 Pahipusa inang mga butigon, nga nagapabugal kag nagatamay sa mga matarong.
19 Daw ano kadako sang imo kaayo nga ginatigana mo sa mga nagatahod sa imo.
Samtang nagatulok ang mga tawo,
ginapakitaan mo sang kaayo ang mga nagapangayo sang proteksyon sa imo.
20 Ginatago mo sila sa lugar nga ara ang imo presensya,
kag didto luwas sila sa pagpanglibak[d] kag pagpang-insulto[e] sang mga tawo.
21 Dalayawon ka, Ginoo!
Kay makatilingala gid ang pagpakita mo sang imo gugma sa akon
sang didto ako sa ginkibon nga siyudad.
22 Sa akon kahadlok naghunahuna ako nga ginsikway mo na ako.
Pero ginpamatian mo ang akon pagpakitluoy sang nagpangayo ako sang bulig sa imo.
23 Higugmaa ninyo ang Ginoo,
kamo nga iya matutom nga katawhan.
Ginatipigan sang Ginoo ang mga matutom sa iya,
pero ginasilutan niya sing puwerte gid ang mga matinaas-taason.
24 Magpakalig-on kamo kag magpakaisog,
kamo nga nagalaom sa Ginoo.

31 In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.
2 Bow down thine ear to me; deliver me speedily: be thou my strong rock, for an house of defence to save me.
3 For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me.
4 Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me: for thou art my strength.
5 Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O Lord God of truth.
6 I have hated them that regard lying vanities: but I trust in the Lord.
7 I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities;
8 And hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a large room.
9 Have mercy upon me, O Lord, for I am in trouble: mine eye is consumed with grief, yea, my soul and my belly.
10 For my life is spent with grief, and my years with sighing: my strength faileth because of mine iniquity, and my bones are consumed.
11 I was a reproach among all mine enemies, but especially among my neighbours, and a fear to mine acquaintance: they that did see me without fled from me.
12 I am forgotten as a dead man out of mind: I am like a broken vessel.
13 For I have heard the slander of many: fear was on every side: while they took counsel together against me, they devised to take away my life.
14 But I trusted in thee, O Lord: I said, Thou art my God.
15 My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.
16 Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: save me for thy mercies' sake.
17 Let me not be ashamed, O Lord; for I have called upon thee: let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be silent in the grave.
18 Let the lying lips be put to silence; which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous.
19 Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!
20 Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.
21 Blessed be the Lord: for he hath shewed me his marvellous kindness in a strong city.
22 For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes: nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications when I cried unto thee.
23 O love the Lord, all ye his saints: for the Lord preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.
24 Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.
