114 (A)Когато Израил излезе от Египет,
Якововият дом – от народ другоезичен,
2 (B)Юда стана светилище на Бога,
Израил – Негово владение.
3 (C)Морето видя и побегна;
Йордан се върна назад;
4 (D)планините се разиграха като овни,
хълмовете – като агнета.
5 (E)Какво ти стана, море, че си побегнало?
На теб, Йордане, че си се върнал назад?
6 На вас, планини, че се разиграхте като овни?
На вас, хълмове – като агнета?
7 Трепери, земьо, от присъствието Господне,
от присъствието на Якововия Бог,
8 (F)Който превърна скалата във воден поток,
твърдия камък – във воден извор.

1 When Israel came out of Egypt,(A)
Jacob from a people of foreign tongue,
2 Judah(B) became God’s sanctuary,(C)
Israel his dominion.
3 The sea looked and fled,(D)
the Jordan turned back;(E)
4 the mountains leaped(F) like rams,
the hills like lambs.
5 Why was it, sea, that you fled?(G)
Why, Jordan, did you turn back?
6 Why, mountains, did you leap like rams,
you hills, like lambs?

114 When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language;
2 Judah was his sanctuary, and Israel his dominion.
3 The sea saw it, and fled: Jordan was driven back.
4 The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs.
5 What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan, that thou wast driven back?
6 Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams; and ye little hills, like lambs?
7 Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;
8 Which turned the rock into a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters.
